Terrible service and staff was ugly in and out.
Hospitality is top notch !
One of the best hotels in Orlando
As someone who has traveled all over the world, I never know what I am stepping into every time I step foot into a hotel. I had spent the first half of my Orlando trip in a different hotel and as soon as I arrived at the Ritz, I felt my vacation had truly begun. I was treated with such respect and class at every encounter. From the fantastic service at Highball & Harvest for many meals, to the valet, & to the many staff who gave a warm “Hello” every time I encountered them in any hallway. This truly felt like an unparalleled 5 star experience. Not to mention having the most stunning and peaceful location. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and exemplary stay in the Orlando area. I will be back!
Great place to stay and enjoy!!
The employees are all miserable and the amenities that are advertised when booking are not there. The carpets are dirty, the sheets were ripped, and the bed was stained.
Great experience at the Ritz! Rooms, staff, service were exceptional!
I was visiting some friends. My favorite part was the lazy river and hot tubs. It was heated and a lot of fun. The restaurant had great food. And this resort is very family friendly they even had a Starbucks and Bodega in the resort. I have to say it was so much fun. The restaurants are very nice too. We had a great experience with friends and family.
A fine hotel with a great restaurant. One of the better options in Orlando.
I bought a couples massage treatment for our anniversary. My massage and use of the facilities was great but the massage my fiance got hurt her upper back in-between her left shoulder blade when they used their elbow as a massage tool. We let the staff know when leaving and they provided us with some cream in a plastic container to put on her back. She was in significant pain for 3 days and unable sleep, go to her job or do common household things without severe pain.
Her doctor prescribed rest and meloxicam. After a little over a week she had recovered enough to sleep and start to get back to normal with manageable pain.
Definitely not what we expected for spending over $500 and it cost us a lot more then that overall.

Beautiful hotel and room
BUT….
1) PLEASE have a good morning solution that doesn’t involve leaving the room and standing in line 15 minutes. Yep, we tried numerous times to order room service coffee and couldn’t get anyone to even answer the phone.
2) the toilet paper is single ply, and TERRIBLE
Please, if people are spending over $1500 a night, you can provide decent toilet paper. Awful.
It’s very nice hotel and pool . I love the bar they are very beautiful .
I went to the spa here. It is very outdated compared to other places in Orlando. It wasn’t as relaxing as I wanted it to be, the common areas for the spa were overcrowded so I had to wait to use the sauna and steam rooms. Pool was cold. Massage was average.
We enjoyed our time here! Everything met and exceeded our expectations. Samuel was awesome from check in and throughout our stay. During check in he understood the purpose of our vacation and made sure my daughter enjoyed her birthday.
Just spent an incredible week at The Ritz-Carlton Grand Lakes, and every moment was pure 5-star perfection! The entire resort is stunning — from the elegant Ritz side to the beautiful adjoining JW Marriott. We loved splitting our time between the Ritz pool and the JW Lazy River (which is such a fun bonus!).
Room service was exceptional every time — breakfast and dinner were both consistently delicious and perfectly presented. A special shoutout to Lorena, our room attendant, who went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. She was absolutely wonderful!
One small piece of feedback — I placed a small Amazon order (an HDMI cable, face wash, and flip-flops for the pool) and had it shipped directly to the Ritz-Carlton address. I was surprised to learn the packages were sent to the FedEx office at the JW, where I had to pay a $10 handling fee per package just to retrieve them. My $40 order turned into a $70 one, which was an unexpected (and honestly frustrating) surprise. For a resort of this caliber, I’d have expected the items to be held at the front desk or at least delivered to my room for that fee. Hopefully this can be reconsidered for future guests — it felt like an unnecessary inconvenience in an otherwise flawless stay.
Aside from that, everything else was absolutely top-notch, and we can’t wait to return!
