Love the atmosphere. Our waitress was very friendly and the service was great. I tried the Shittinonion Soup, which was a very tasty version of french onion. I tried the Haystack fries (waaay too salty!), and I tried the Rusty O-Rings (pretty good for onion rings). I had the 55 Burger which was very flavorful, with a nice touch of smokiness. The prices for the items were a bit high in my opinion. Other than that, I would consider going again.
Farm to table restaurant in downtown Orlando. Interesting dishes, house made sauces and a friendly wait staff make it a nice experience. Parking is available in the nearby garages.
Hipster place, awesome food, smaller portions though. Quality over quantity I suppose. Good drink menu and prices also, service was good. Only true complaint was parking, was forced to valet once i turned on the street since it was closed off to thru traffic.
The Rusty Spoon has a fairly large dining space in the downtown area. It has a very classy and inviting feel. The menu was very unique, with frequently changing items. We all enjoyed our meals during this business lunch.
This was a fun place with good service and creative twists on their food. They had fascinating dipping sauces with their stacks of fries and a dill twist on deviled eggs.
The rating above is anticipatory at this point. This locations is changing into a true European restaurant as of mid-October '19, run by a lady from Utrecht, The Netherlands. Hoping for some real Dutch food like bitterballen (fried meat appetizers), plate-sized pancakes with sweet and savory fillings and of course, their classic apple "geback," the Dutch version of apple pie that tops most American ones by a mile.
The atmosphere is super cute, decor is tasteful and the service was great. The portions are large and the food is delicious.
The salad and pasta I had today were like summer on a plate. The food manages to be both rustic and eclectic, like having a meal prepared from your friend who has an excellent garden: Interesting combinations of super fresh ingredients.
Flavorful and nice variety of appetizers plus unique specials to choose from on top of their farm to table menu. Attentive staff.
The food was fresh and very delicious. The waiter was super nice and attentive. The environment wasn't too loud which made a great place for a business dinner.

It wasn't a bad meal, it just wasn't special...again. I feel like this place has gotten a lot of hype. I dined there a year ago. I thought I would give it another chance. So the meal was okay. But the flavors were muted. For a place that refuses any alterations or substitutions, the food should spectacularly stand on its own. It fell short. The house dip and crackers was some homemade chips with an almost flavorless dip. The Caesar salad was nice but just that. The Moroccan lamb sandwich was good. The lamb was flavorful and well prepared. The accompanying bread was ok. The accompanying choices were soup or fries. I couldn't bear the thought of hot soup on a 96 degree day. Again a substitution of something lighter would have been welcome. Service was good not great. Just a bit slow to get through the meal. Gave it three stars instead of four because based on prices etc. I doubt that I would return.
i went to enquire about their rusty spoons - and to my disappointment i found out from an employee that they did not have a drawer where rusty spoons were kept. in fact, they didn't have anything rusty - not even a little rusty kettle. the only rusty item was a frail window which did not feel nice against my salad fingers. though the food did have a rusty texture.
Poor service and everything took forever. Waited 50 mins for food, and server came by once to check drinks. We looked around and noticed that of the 10 tables that we could see not one had food.... Also they will not accommodate even the smallest requests to your dishes. I asked to have a vegetable placed on the side, not on top of my steak. I was told the chef doesn't accept modifications of ANY kind. My daughter ordered a salad and asked to have the protein not mixed in, just in case she didn't like. Server told her that she should order something else then.
It took 45 minutes to get our food after they asked if we had show tickets and when we talked to the manager, he just shrugged, blamed the waiter and walked away. We will never return and encourage our friends to avoid this restaurant as well.
My husband and I took my son, his wife and 2 year old son. We were there to celebrate my son's graduation from college. I had noted that on my reservation. First, they tried to seat us, in a mostly empty restaurant, by the kitchen and with a view of the bathrooms. Next, no mention was made of the celebration. Upon leaving I mentioned this to the manager and she seemed annoyed. Said they don't do extravagant things there. I've been to classer restaurants where a little note was left. A congratulations from someone in the restaurant would have been nice. Don't recommend this place for celebrations.
