We love going to ice cream stores. The milkshakes in the pictures looked amazing. When I got there I asked the employee to tell me about their store. What were they famous for and what should I order. His answer was “ice cream and I guess alcoholic milkshakes”. I asked a few more questions to give him an opportunity to get me excited about something. It was a wasted effort.
So we each got a double scoop of ice cream that was good but not great and left as fast as we could.
The store felt a little dirty and in disrepair.
Would not recommend.
Parking: The parking is in the back and extremely limited. However on a Saturday night this place was a ghost town so maybe that doesn’t matter

We ordered a milkshake. Even though we were there just before closing time, the service was excellent. The milkshake was very good.

Awesome ice cream and even better service! Sergio is one of the friendliest people I’ve ever met and I’m from Wisconsin! He had a lot of recommendations for things to do in Orlando and very obviously takes pride in his work and his town!

The ice cream was great but the service was even better! Frank served us with such a kind and friendly attitude. Every person who walked in, he greeted as if conversing with an old friend. He was helpful to everyone in placing orders, and made sure to go above and beyond to provide excellent service. One person walked in who was a regular, and with someone like Frank serving, I can see why someone would frequent this place. The ice cream was delicious; we had the brownie sundae and a waffle cone. We look forward to visiting again!

I visited The Soda Fountain Ice Cream Shop with my niece on Monday around 4 PM and had an outstanding experience, all thanks to a wonderful male employee. He was patient and kind, making sure my niece felt comfortable with her choice. He offered her a sample, which she loved. The shop had a very quiet environment, and the chalk activity on the walls for children was a delightful touch. Our visit was special, and we will definitely return. Highly recommend this place!

Good Sweet
Service was fast a succinct, perfect for an introvert. If anyone complains about service they’re just jealous they don’t get to work at a great ice cream store like this one.

Good Sweet
Stopped in for a treat for my toddlers. Drove past this place plenty of times and thought it was a cool little local shop and should try some time. Today was the opportunity. We got two kids scoops, one cookies and cream on a cone and a blueberry cheese cake in a cup. No complaints about the ice cream at all. Good flavors and verity. My biggest complaint was the customer service. It fell kinda flat for me, not very inviting or friendly staff. They have two ends one that sells hot dogs and the other side ice cream. The kid working the ice cream shop seemed kinda new, like didn’t know how to operate the register or scoop ice cream. Tried to ring me up for larger scoops. During the payment process, my toddler dropped his scoop from the cone. I looked back up and he acted like he’s never seen a kid drop ice cream before. He didn’t know how to react and looked the guy making hot dogs what to do. Hot Dog guy came over and just reached out to my wife like he wanted us to hand him the dropped scoop and cone. It was an awkward interaction. They replaced the scoop on the old cone, which felt was a bit unsanitary to do. It was very odd situation like could the ice cream kid could have reacted faster, it seemed like he was wondering how to charge for this.Sitting in the shop was unpleasant. It was hot and muggy from the door being left open. There wasn’t any background music or any life in the shop. Seemed kinda unwelcoming like a drug front.Overall I probably won’t be back and would recommend Kelly’s down the street.
