Me and my partner have eaten here before and we really like their hotdogs. Usually when we arrive the order is ready. This time it was not, which is fine. This means however, that we happen to see how the order was being prepared. There was a young woman preparing the order, she messed up by adding potato sticks to both hotdogs (which normally is okay, as I have a lot of patience and things like that don’t get to me). To make it easier for her I told her to leave them on since I saw her picking them off causing the food to look discombobulated. She proceeded to take the tots out of the air fryer, and we saw her pick a tot from our order and eat it. Her gloves were still on, even after touching high touch surfaces such as the ordering computer. I find this to be disgusting and a little disturbing that someone would eat from our food. I wonder if it has happened before?

So, after passing this place over and over again, I decided to go in afterward from my physical therapy session next door. After looking at this place up on Google Maps and seeing all these reviews being positive and seeing all the pictures I expected a lot,
What I got was a microwave box of tater tots that had enough salt on them to cure meat. My hotdog looked nothing like any of the photos, it more looked like something that resulted in the quality of something sitting out in the sun at a park family get-together with the toppings that looked to be an afterthought.
They had a lot of things out of stock. No vanilla ice cream. What is the core of most of their floats over all I don't believe I will be returning to this place again

The wait times for the frank and tater tots and the large order of tater tots and one hot dog were extra long for what was served. 25-35 minutes for what I could have done for 5-10 minutes.

Tastes great. Can’t really say it’s one $, and twice they’ve not gotten my mobile order so I had to sit and wait. Don’t use Clover.
But I’m rating 4 stars anyways because they’re a small business.

I would give a 0 if I could, thought I was going to a soda fountain shop nothing about this place is that. We go in to order some hot dogs they are out of banana, sauerkraut, they no longer have a hot dog that are still on the menu and the lady says they leave me here on a Saturday missing a lot of food items. Ok so we move on from that I ordered a smoke sausage with ketchup mustard lots of onions and a side of Cole slaw (pictured below), tots and Mac n cheese with a chocolate malt, husband got a chili cheese dog and macon dog and a cinnamon coffee shake. Daughter got hot dog ketchup mustard onions and tots (what is pictured below). Now for the part that is upsetting she cooked everything in a microwave including the hot dogs and sausage. The hot dogs and Sausage were so dried out that they were hard to eat, daughters tots had so much salt that she had to wipe off every piece to eat as you will see in the picture. Mac n cheese had no flavor and was not even hot when we got it. The malt that I was supposed to have was clumpy not creaming and did not taste like malt. Then the worst thing was the coke slaw not sure what or how they make but in person it was brown the picture here did not show the greenish/brown color it really was and it tasted bad and out dated. The lady that was there working alone today (we were the only customers) wore the same pair of gloves to come out and in the back room touching doors and out food and you can say she changed she did not we were sitting at the bar and could see in the back room she did not change them. The food is not fresh. Was not happy with driving over 40 minutes just to try it.

P.S. If you value your life DO NOT use the bathroom!!! The toilet seat is NOT attached and comes off with you, the bathroom is not clean, the soap is scary and looked like when oil gets cold hard on-top liquid on bottom.

Let me start of by saying that the customer service here is amazing, Sergio was very welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful for sure 5 star customer service, I hope management recognizes the value he brings to there business. Now to the food 🤤🤤, the variety of dogs are great, I had the Chicago Dog & Chili Dog with tater tops and it was tasty. My friend had the Colombian Dog and loved it. Sergio also sold us on a milk shake 🤤🤤🤤 perfectly done, we will for sure be coming back to this location. Thank you Sergio. #Sergio2024

Anytime we go out of town we have to research in advance to find the vegan or vegetarian options in the area and plan around their location!

We were tired of burgers and pizza and really craved a good hot dog! We were so happy to have discovered The Doghouse!!

Ms. Joyce..the owner was so accommodating and helped us choose the best toppings for our hotdogs and tater tots! Everrrything was super delicious??? and the vegan hotdogs were jumbo sized and so juicy!!

We will definitely be back the next time we are in town!!

For an indulgence went tonthe doghouse and we are glad we did.

Hot dogs were overwhelming in size, topings and were yummy. Couldn't eat the entire lunch.

Blue cheese tater tots a great change from boring sides. Definitely suggest you try.

Staff was also friendly and service was speedy.
