First time coming here. Very cool atmosphere and the menu was amazing. I had a Mango Mamacita, which is a tasty cocktail. I also had the Honey Apple Flatbread with prosciutto.The flavors were incredible. Highly recommend coming here.

I was searching for the perfect spot to celebrate my birthday, and The Stubborn Mule in Orlando just fell into my lap — what a gem! I met my cousin who lives nearby, and we were looking for a good meal, great vibes, and a few laughs. Our server, Jessica, was absolutely amazing — friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel like queens! She knew the menu inside and out and gave the best recommendations. We started with the Edamame topped with grated Parmesan, which came in a generous portion and was so flavorful. For the main course, I ordered the Smash Burger with Garlic Broccolini — I was thrilled to learn it’s made with grass-fed beef. My cousin had The Stubborn Mule and Cheesy Gouda Grits, and she loved every bite. To top it all off, Jessica surprised me with a Salted Caramel Cheesecake for my birthday — such a sweet touch! I couldn’t have asked for a better birthday lunch — great food, amazing service, and perfect outdoor weather in downtown O-Town. I’ll definitely be back! 🎉

We found this lovely restaurant near downtown Orlando and sat outside for an early dinner. Joseph R. was our server and he was wonderfully attentive and helpful! We had the sticky pork belly for appetizers and for entree braised short ribs and grits and a seafood fBLT. All were amazing!! We will be back!

Absolute worst experience with my family tonight that could have been preventable if management would have valued their customers. We will definitely not be dining here ever again after coming for years because of the mangers response Brought our family from out of town to one of the few restaurants downtown with good service and food. Had a table next to us with 5 kids that were way too intoxicated to have even been admitted into the restaurant. They continued to get louder and were just being disrespectful especially considering the women and children at our table. Asked our server to please get the manager and explained the more than obvious situation to him and he assured us it would be taken care of. Proceeded to get our food and 1/2 way through dinner one of the kids at the table next to us throws up all over their table in plain view while We were eating. If that was disgusting enough, he then filled two more glasses at his table up with his barf and displayed it with pride. You would have thought the mangers would have asked them to leave and cleaned up the mess. But instead they let them stay there for 20 more minutes trying to get these drunks to pay their bill which left us no choice but to deal with them direct. At this point our dinner has been ruined and I figured they would have comped our bill and apologized or at least asked how they could make it up to us. No one from the Mang team comes back to the table and we paid our bill although most of us didn't finish eating after the huge scene and everything that happened. So before leaving I asked to talk to the manger again and another manager who was a woman came out and said yes sir can I help you. Told her how disappointed we were in their response to the situation and let her know that that they had lost 10 local customers tonight. She basically said I'm sorry you didn't enjoy your experience and we appreciate the feedback but wouldn't take ownership of not having security or being staffed up enough to deal with 5 drunk guys that we ended up having to deal with for them. Really sad that management is trained enough to deal with drunk patrons in their establishment but what is worse is that management doesn't care enough about their loyal local customers to try and rectify the situation and responded by being rude. Management was rude and obviously doesn't care about their loyal customers.

Never been here before but heard good things about it. Was not thrilled. Arrived on a Saturday morning and was shocked that it was a brunch only menu. Every normal restaurant I’ve ever been has either breakfast or lunch. This was disappointing. Food was solid. Atmosphere was weird. Very “crunchy” place if you will. Felt like I was in a restaurant in Montpelier, VT. Hostess was also not that great and was a bit all over the place. Didn’t offer us an open table, but offered it to a group behind us. Very pricey as well. Wouldn’t go back.

Good service and good shrimp and grits. The meal was actually jambalaya like with bell peppers, onion and andouille sausage. Highly recommend. Also, the rest of our party enjoyed their food as well. They ordered the Fresh Catch BLT, the Cuban, and the New York steak.
I gave it a 4 because the ac didn't work the night we were there and it was so dang hot in there.We actually took our desert to go because it was just a sauna in there at 830pm at night. They service was great and the food was good .Steak was a little fatty but all and all ok.

The food was delicious. We ordered the ribs, NY Strip, and the Salmon. Everything was delicious. The food was seasoned well and came out quickly. We visited just after a lunch rush, and I half expected to wait a little longer for the food, but everything was out fairly quickly. Our waitress was amazing, and I wish I had remembered her name to give her kudos. Overall, it was a great experience. I want to go back to try their brunch.

A rare gem is a restaurant that lives up to its billing. This is Stubborn Mule! Hamburger was delicious along with Caesar salad. Wife had the fresh catch which also was good. Service was friendly and efficient. Only drawback was parking. We got lucky and found the last street spot.
