I just checked in and will never be back. Didn’t get the room I booked. They didn’t say anything when checking in, wasn’t till I got to the room that I found out. There is huge gap between the door and the door, you hear EVERYTHING. It’s so loud! Even the toilet in the room is loud. This place is far over priced!

Management service was horrendous! Came in for breakfast as a party of 2 was told it was a 15 minute wait.. then as 30 minutes goes by and I continue to see diners in larger groups who arrived after us being seated before us, when I spoke with management they apparently forgot about us, but what really got me was the lack of apology or professionalism. I would like to say my server was amazing as was all other staff

Christmas bufet looked a little disconnected and not festive enough. Tables inside were plane and generic. There was no Christmas on the table just Christmasy

Variety of food was great and tasted very good, very satisfying. The service was friendly, attentive and attempted to meet our every need pleasantly. The environment and ambience was comfortable, clean, spacious, and one felt relaxed and unhurried.

I attended the Christmas Brunch the restaurant had, so this review is based mainly off of that experience. If you are looking for a review on the restaurant on a day to day basis, this isn't it. In regards to the brunch, the host team and management were welcoming and kind and everything ran smoothly. The ambiance was that of a hotel so I was not expecting 5 stars or Denny's. My main focus was the food that was provided. The array was enormous from breakfast items such as omelettes, bacon potatoes etc. then you had a salad bar, rice, seafood spread and warm foods. The food was modest, not much flavor with the meats, seafood was not fresh, the sushi rolls tasted premade the night before. The value of the buffet $75 per person, was not equal to the quality of the food. Overall a fair review but nothing spectacular and I would recommend a restaurant outside of the hotel if you're looking for flavor and quality.

Wow! This resort is truly amazing. The grounds are beautiful & the scent pumped through the lobby/halls is to die for. We came here for our honeymoon, upon arrival they setup chocolate covered strawberries and champagne. Highly recommend coming here!

Be prepared to pay $30 for a standard buffet not much better than a Hampton Inn. The service was disorganized. But they have you, a captive audience

Had the breakfast buffet. Figured it would be reasonably priced. That was an incorrect assumption. $33.64 for the buffet. Nothing special- sure there's a large selection but... $33.64? That's not quite accurate- the buffet is $27.00 which, is still absurd; with an 18% service fee on every check... even for a table of one. I suspect, if pressed, they would call it a gratuity but I don't suspect 100% of it rolls down to the staff.

$28/adult and $13/ kid for continental breakfast plus automatic 28% service charge is I think unreasonable. It’s just 3 of us and we spent $90 plus tips (optional). It would be okay if the food is good but most of them especially eggs were so bland and tasteless. Won’t be back for sure.

First, the resort is very nice! Tropicale is a restaurant available for breakfast. They have very friendly servers and welcoming staff. I chose to get the buffet for the array of options. The same items in the buffet are available for the a la carte choices. Buffet is $35/pp. I sampled small bites of the majority of the items to provide a good review. I live in the south so I enjoy a good bowl of grits. I would not recommend the grits. They're not made with love the way I'm accustomed to eating but the protein options are plentiful including smoked salmon which was delicious btw. There's an omelette bar where you fill out a slip and tell the cook how to prepare it with lots of add-ons like peppers, onions s, mushroom, cheese and protein. There's a large amount of fruit choices too. Practically anything you want. The carbs are on overload. Pancakes, waffles, toast, oatmeal, potatoes, yogurt, parfaits with all the toppings. There is also cereal for the kiddos. Beverages are water, milk, juice, coffee & various teas. There's soothing music playing so it's enjoyable and relaxing. I'm ready to get started after this somewhat healthy meal.

$28 per person, with an automatic 18 percent tip is way way too much for a basic breakfast buffet. The muffins were flavorless "assorted" of poor quality. You get better premade muffins at Kroger.

The food is downright terrible. The only thing that tastes fresh is a custom omelet order. I ate here three times now, all three were bad. The sausage is chewy and made me gag. The cream cheese tastes old and sour. The potatoes are mushy and taste like they were made yesterday then reheated. If you are satisfied with an omelet and bacon, you're in luck because that is all that is good here. So many options a short Uber away, don't come here. Service is good, ambiance is fine, very early 1990s, but who cares really. Don't order breakfast cocktails, worse than the food.

The Tropical Bar is great! Nicole is an awesome bartender!

Very cute and cozy restaurant. A warm morning feel. The waitresses and other staff are very kind. Cleaned plates quickly and checked in regularly.I went two days. The first day, I did a la carte. I got the steak, eggs, and potatoes. It was pretty good. The eggs are a little plain, but nothing some salt and pepper can't help. The steak was tender but thin. The potatoes were amazing. Fresh, crispy, and seasoned. It was about $27, so it was fairly priced. I would get it again. The second day, I tried the buffet. It has some pretty decent choices. Lots of fruit choices. Pancakes were a little dry. Omelet was good. Potatoes are not as good as the a la carte. It was about 30 per person a little more with the service charge. Would I recommend it? Probably not because the price didn't match the quality.
