First time being at a Tijuana Flats and really enjoyed it! This particular location has very friendly employees, food tasted good, and the interior is fun and engaging! Would absolutely come here again and try more from their menu!

Been to Tijuana Flats dozens of times in different locations. Came in for Throwback Thursdaze and was helped out by Pat. His energy was awesome, super welcoming, accommodating and positive. Working in the food industry is difficult, especially fast paced. The fact that he carries himself the way he did was inspiring to me to never lose that spark. He informed me he had just recently promoted - well deserved!

Wow. What is happening? The radio in the back is so loud it's mixing with the dinning room music and just sounds loud and bad. It's too much. Not a relaxing atmosphere. Too much contrasting noise. I took mine to go. The front end person was very nice, so there's that.

Service was fast quick and fresh. He mad a fresh batxh if chip for me, it was on point- not to salty not too bland uhhmmm i love it, my cheese was ugh delish..... she even offered free water white i waited, Thank you for your services.

Love these flats in general especially those ones on Orange and University, but this colonialtown one in particular - Ive been recently at multiple times and I find all the tables always unclean during non-rush hours and this is the second time where i got a burrito with uncooked rice and stale beans that I can’t finish - it’s just an experience several tiers lower from those other stores.

I tired Tijuana Flats for the first time today and had a disappointing experience. First, the air conditioning wasn’t working and because I had ordered ahead, eating elsewhere wasn’t in the cards. (It would be nice to post a sign on the door letting walk-ins know-especially with a heat index of 113 degrees today.) Several in our group left early because it was so uncomfortable in the restaurant. Also, I tried to redeem two coupons on the app and neither really worked. One, you needed to buy a large drink in order to get a burrito free- except the aqua fresca and strawberry lemonade advertised on their website didn’t count because they aren’t sold as a large. (Super sad- do you want the free burrito or the strawberry lemonade 🙁.) The second coupon didn’t work because the order ahead website didn’t take off the $5 off $30. The staff were friendly and served us many cups of ice/ice water but I don’t feel a need to go back.

I always ordered Flautas! Is the signature of this restaurant chain Lol I love their hot sauces variety of them. Lots of choices on sauces you’ll get some good laugh 😂 on them sauces names. I can guaranteed! if you ever stop in try the Flautas highly recommended 👍👍
The last location I know of that has yet to be repainted due to the corporate buy out! I loved this chains unusual style and this is the last one I would frequent that has kept the old art! For the most part nothing else seems to have changed except for some new staff but that may just be to regular turn over. Food and prices are still good.

Great food, the person who took our order was very friendly, and helped us navigate the menu. The other young lady who was bringing the food out clearly didn't want to be there; hollered name, dropped food, spun and walked away, did not respond when I tried to ask for a drink refill. Also despite being almost empty, there wasn't a single clean table in the dining room (there must've been 25+ tables). We had to get some napkins and wipe a table down the best we could, tiptoeing around the food all over the floor around the table. If that's how filthy they keep the front end, imagine what the kitchen looks like. We seriously contemplated just leaving our food and going elsewhere and not risk getting sick. All in all, we stayed and enjoyed the food. Again, the young lady that took our order was very nice.

Online order pickup time said 1:20 and I didn’t get my food until 1:50 and the restaurant wasn’t even a quarter full. No apology from the staff or anything. I get places are short staffed and things happen but throw people a gift card or chips or something. 30 minutes sitting there… this chain has gone down hill. 2011 Tijuananas was lit
