Terrible experience. The chicken smelled off, and my husband got sick shortly after eating. My daughter found a tiny bone in her ground beef — completely unacceptable. All of this happened in just one visit. Won’t be coming back.
Menu changed. The food was decent, palatable. But I don’t think I’ll be back for a while. It seems like the cheese has changed, not sure if this is just one person in the kitchen who made an error or if the consistency changed due to some sort of cost saving measures. The order that I used to get now doesn’t come with lettuce, lettuce, tomato, onion, etc, and I have to choose from either guac or cheese… of course it was a surprise getting plain flautas & cheese when I got use to flautas. LTO, sour cream, guacamole, chips and cheese… now the price is higher a bit and I get less food. Just not really worth it unless I’m going for trivia night.
It's just ok , not great they always forget your beverage when you order combos online.
18 dollars for a bowl of rice and some chicken is criminal. Fix your prices the dang bowl isn’t even full.
The food was delicious, and the young lady behind the counter was super cool and professional. I will be back!!
Great food and service
Ordered a chicken chimi and got only refried beans only in my chimi. Missing chips from my order of queso and chips and when I called their answer was that they would report it to the manager. No credit and no apologies. Never again will I come back. Had a bad experience on my last visit but decided to give them another chance and they blew it.
Waited 20 minutes for a burrito when 8 people who came in after me got four or five different meals before I got my food
Great service
Food was good. All staff was nice, polite and helpful with answering questions. We did a take out.

Tijuana Flats – Avalon Park
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (mostly)
Let’s talk about a Tijuana Flats that actually gets it right. The one in Avalon Park? Top-tier. The food is exactly what you want from a Tex-Mex spot—hot, fresh, packed with flavor, and not some half-hearted, soggy mess tossed into a foil-lined basket. The staff? Absolute legends. I was a few cents short at the register, and the guy working didn’t even blink—just spotted me like it was nothing. That’s the kind of customer service you don’t see much anymore.
Now, the bathroom situation? Whole other story. Some dude, clearly in some kind of personal crisis, decided he NEEDED to get into the single-stall bathroom at the exact same moment I was using it. And when I say “needed,” I mean banging on the door, groaning, huffing like a cartoon bull—just absolutely losing it. Meanwhile, I’m in there trying to take care of business, and it turns into a full-blown shouting match because apparently, he couldn’t comprehend that a person with a shattered pelvis might take a second to get situated. I had to straight-up yell, “I BROKE MY HIP AND SHATTERED MY PELVIS SOME FOUR MONTHS AGO, IT TAKES ME A MOMENT,” just to get this guy to back off.
So yeah, five stars for the food, the staff, and the general vibe—but that bathroom encounter? Zero stars, would not recommend.
The food was okay, nothing special but for the cost not bad, the staff were funny, quick and kind though the place was a bit messy.
The food was great, as it always is at this location. Service was quick, but extremely cold and it seemed to be a tremendous bother to the server that brought the food to our table. Not a single word from her. She just hastily dropped each order in front of our party of 3. She didn't bother to ask who's order was who's. Needless to say, 2 of us did not have the correct food. I've never had a bad experience at Tijuana Flats. Our guest was a first time customer and said they'd never be back.
What an amazing time here today.
The food is delicious as always; and it's my opinion but the ocean deck Rasta sauce is the most tasty of all the sauce.
As far as service from the lovely Janeva she is a super sweetheart.
Everything was great
