On my route to many of my destination. Location is in the newer/older parts of Orlando. You have a young family, college type vibe. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nicely lit, my preference is toward the darker side. Great for family, my previous neighborhood Tijuana customers were teens to late 20 something. The downside; portion inflation presence is noticeable. The price to food; time on your side, better than fast food restaurant. Almost too cheerful is the staff (my best Yoda impression). Tired of fast food, time on your side and Tex-Mex is an option. I would recommend.

I went today and got some chicken nachos and it had about 2 small chunks of shredded chicken out of the entire portion of nachos. I asked for extra queso because the nachos were dry and then I was going to mention the extremely small portion of chicken they gave me. Im talking to the foh lady who was extremely nice and a kitchen or manager guy comes out and says very rudely that they did put queso on there but its a small amount. He told her to charge me for the queso as well. I felt at that point there was no reason to bring up the skimpy chicken if this is how they handle customer complaints. Didn’t even get to enjoy my meal because of the kitchen or manager guy being stingy with proteins and cheese.

I came in for pick up, I ordered the taco Tuesday deal, two tacos and chips for $8 and a side of queso for $3. There was rarely any protein in the tacos, I would say about a lil more than a tablespoon of protein, but there was so much salad toppings in each taco. Which was an issue for me because I had just finished a long work out session at the gym. When I finished eating, I wasn’t full at all and had to stop by someplace else to eat. I just don’t see the point of stopping by anymore if it doesn’t fill me up.

New design is horrible and sad. All the pictures are gone and it’s corporate copy and paste. Doesn’t feel like a community Tflats anymore. Lots of great memories there and now it’s all gone. Booths suck and doesn’t fit correctly where they placed them. I’ll choose the colonial drive location over this one now.

Tonight I online ordered for Taco Tuesday and went to the wrong location to pick up my food. By the time I realized my mistake, I was over an hour late to pick up my order from the SoDo location. I asked the girl at the pick up counter if they could possibly remake the food for me. Not only did she jump into action (and of course they remade it fresh and perfectly) but she also made me feel like I wasn’t a complete idiot (a point still up for debate). This location in particular has always had fantastic service and food. Tonight I was reminded why it was my “default” online order pickup spot. Thank you SoDo T-Flats crew!
