This place was simple, friendly staff, great atmosphere. And the food took me back to my days in Guyana, the fried rice, black pudding, pholourie, amazing. From MD vacationing in FL and I had to stop by here. Very worth it.
Unfortunately, I didn’t have a great experience. The food wasn’t ready yet and I ended up waiting over 30 minutes after ordering. The jerk chicken lacked flavor and the rice & beans were hard from not being cooked enough. Overall, this food gave me an upset stomach. I hope the food quality and service improve in the future. Still, I would not return here.
The guyanese food here is very delicious & fresh. I really enjoyed everything I ordered. I ordered: roasted duck, pepper lamb, and chicken fried rice. Their house made hot sauce is very addictive. It was awesome, and I would recommend this place and come back here again. Thanks for a great dinner!
