Saw this pizza place on a review from a podcast for best pizza in orlando area on Ticktok. I was not disappointed! Family got pizza, chicken Alfredo, and chicken parm sandwich. All of it was outstanding. Jack and the crew there were great. Don't past up this hidden gem!

Unforgettable experience at Tomasino’s thanks to Jake!

From the moment we walked in, Jake made our evening seamless and enjoyable. His attentiveness, friendly attitude, and genuine passion for hospitality turned an already great meal into something truly memorable. He knew the menu inside and out, offered fantastic recommendations, and made us feel like VIPs the entire time.

Tomasino’s never disappoints with its food and atmosphere—but Jake’s service elevated everything. If you’re heading there soon, ask for Jake. You won’t regret it!

I had an amazing experience with Tomassino’s! The pizza was absolutely delicious—crispy crust, flavorful sauce, and the perfect amount of cheese and toppings. The cozy atmosphere made it feel like a true neighborhood gem. What really made the visit special, though, was the service. Jake, our server, was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the menu. He made great recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. We’ll definitely be back—this place is a must-visit!

Went to lunch here on 4th of July. Jacob was there and explained the story behind the pizza to us. The food was fantastic! I will see you again next year!!

About a year ago, I visited Tomasino’s with my daughter and mother-in-law. While we all ordered pasta dishes, only my family's meals arrived—mine never came, despite multiple follow-ups with the staff. Eventually, I told them to cancel my order since everyone else had finished eating. As we were paying the bill, my meal was finally brought out in a to-go box. Fortunately, it was delicious, as were the other meals, which made the experience all the more frustrating.

This week, I decided to give the restaurant another try while visiting town, hoping that the service had improved. Unfortunately, the experience was quite similar. After 20 minutes without receiving drinks or menus, I had to go to the counter to request them myself. It took another 10 minutes before our orders were taken. Again, everyone at our table received their meals except for me. My dish arrived approximately 10 minutes later. Utensils were not provided, and despite repeated requests—including my own attempts to retrieve them—they didn’t arrive for what felt like another 10 minutes. We also requested extras like butter and Parmesan, which were never brought out.

The manager did stop by to apologize for the delay and offered to comp our drinks and provide a discount, which was appreciated. However, he also offered several excuses for the service, which was disappointing. Given that a year has passed since my initial visit, it’s unfortunate to see that the same service issues persist.

To be clear—the food is excellent. Rich flavors, perfectly cooked pasta, and great pizza options make Tomasino’s a worthwhile choice *if* you’re willing to be extremely patient. But in terms of overall experience, the service continues to fall short.

Shoutout to Jake for being an absolute legend of a server! Seriously, he made our whole night. Super chill, friendly, and on top of everything—didn’t miss a beat. He got our order right, gave some awesome recommendations , and kept checking in. Even when the place got busy, he stayed cool and made sure we were good the whole time. It’s rare to get service that feels this personal and effortless. If you’re coming here, ask for Jake —you won’t regret it. 10/10, would eat here again just for the vibes and amazing food!

As Lake Nona locals, we usually dine at Piazza Italia, which never disappoints. We decided to give Tomasino’s a try since it’s closer to home and we saw a few mentions online, including on TikTok. Unfortunately, while the food itself was pretty good, the overall experience left a lot to be desired.

The service was surprisingly poor. The place proudly touts “Welcome to the family” as a greeting, but if this is how they treat family, I’d hate to see how they treat strangers. There was no soap in the bathroom—seriously concerning, especially when you think about where the staff is washing their hands. I let one of the employees know, and she just shrugged it off.

We ordered at the counter—one pizza, a draft beer, and a kid’s pasta with marinara. The total came to $50, and we added a 15% tip, bringing it to $65. No issue tipping for good service, but what we experienced didn’t merit it.

We sat and waited, and the food arrived packed in to-go containers, even though we were clearly dining in. The beer came in a glass, but everything else felt like we were being rushed out. The server recognized the mistake, hesitated, then just walked away. No plates. No silverware. When I went to get some, I was met with attitude—as if I was inconveniencing them.

We genuinely wanted to like this place. It’s convenient, and the food isn’t bad. But the lack of care, poor hospitality, and basic hygiene concerns make it hard to justify a return visit—especially when there are better options just down the road.

We’ve ordered from here a few times. It’s always been overpriced, but the food has been pretty good. That changed tonight.

We decided to dine in for a change. The overhead lights are SO bright and reflect perfectly off the laminated menus and into your eyes, similar to when you have your eyes dilated at the eye doctor and they ask you to stare into that tiny bright light. I hate the eye doctor.

On to the food… I love a good baked Italian sandwich. This is not a good baked Italian sandwich. Picture this: one piece of ham and one piece of Salami topped with Taco Bell style lettuce and tomato with no sauces or seasonings. How can you offer an Italian sandwich without Capicola, Onions, and Italian Dressing? That’s literally the three main ingredients. Don’t ruin the reputation of a delicacy with your poor excuse of a baked Italian sandwich. The pizza was worse.

All for the low price of $54. Do yourself a favor and order Dominos.

AVOID THIS PLACE. I’ll preface this with the fact that I’m a local and have eaten here at least 5 times before, but after tonight I will not be back! I ordered the gardener pizza. The pizza crust was literally so thin it couldn’t hold the toppings on the pizza, and was so soggy!!!! It was clearly undercooked and when I asked the server about it, she said it was just watery because it was a veggie pizza. Ive probably eaten 500 veggie pizzas in my life, and none of them have been like this. You can be the judge from the photos…the dough was just too thin and not cooked. On top of that, I ordered a Diet Pepsi and it tasted like straight chemicals for some reason. To top it all off, this place is not cheap. My 14 inch pizza was $30, may as well have just lit $30 on fire cos the whole meal was terrible 😣 save yourself and go elsewhere if you want to enjoy your dinner.
