Whenever we are in Orlando, my family has to have lunch at Toojay's. We love the hot pastrami and corned beef on rye.

My family and I moved to Florida from NJ about 7 years ago. We found Toojays and have been visiting frequently ever since. The first person we met there was Peter. He was very friendly and helpful with the menu. He has a great personality and we really like him. Sometimes we don't even want to go if he's not there. He's a great server! You should be proud to have him as one of your employees. Debbie and Evelyn are great too. They make a great team!!!

We love coming to TooJays in Dr Phillips. We've been going there for probably 5 years or so and visit at least every other week. The food is always great! Love the salads. But even more we love Peter who has always taken care of us since our very first visit. It feels more like we're going to visit Peter than it does just going out for dinner. He's such an awesome waiter! Everything with him is always right on point. He's always so friendly and is very knowledgeable of the menu. He came to the rescue yesterday when my picky 11 year old didn't know what he wanted. He loved Peter's recommendation...potato pancake with brisket!?We love Toojays & we love our waiter Peter❤️

Food pricing is a bit high for what you get. I ordered take out, got back to my hotel room and they messed up on my order (ordered fries, they gave coleslaw). Wasn't about to drive all the way back over.

As I walked in the store, I was immediately ambushed by the store manager, who has blonde hair and a European accent yelling at an employee driver she was degrading him in front of everyone. She damn say hi to me after two minutes and I told her that she should be nice to people as she would like to be treated nice as well. She replied. I’ve been in this business too long. Some people don’t deserve to be nice Didn’t seen her go back to the kitchen from customer review and start eating from the assembly line which is totally unsanitary whoever owns this establishment should retrain their management.

Went for lunch this past Saturday while boosting Orlando with my family. I used to eat there frequently many years ago when I lived locally.

Peter was our waiter, and even with 3 cranky little ones, he was quick to smile and on top of our needs.

Wife loved her chicken noodle soup and shepherds pie. My corned beef was excellent and a good mix of lean and fatty like I asked for.

Only ding was when I got home the banana dream cake I asked for to go, was replaced with carrot cake lol mistakes happen. Go enjoy a meal there, you'll be glad you did.
