It’s a taco bar and the tacos are delicious. They do well what they should do and don’t do a lot of unnecessary extra stuff if you want excellent tacos and quick service and this is a place for you.

For background hubs is a chef and I’m a very spoiled foodie. We work hard for our money and there’s nothing worse than spending money on food that is thrown together or that we can make better ourselves. We were left absolutely in awe over Torchy’s. In fact I think we’re ruined for tacos. We got 6 different ones and the street corn. We spent the day at one of the local parks and just couldn’t do the gimmicky options there. From the street it just looks like another chain restaurant but after peeking the menu we decided to try it. The ambiance is really warm and laid back but not in a cheesy way. The Hogfather was probably the best bite of any food I’ve had in a long time. The carnitas were packed with flavor and moist, same with the beef. Shrimp was also amazing. From corn to flour, both tortillas were incredibly done. We will definitely be back, probably tomorrow to try out the breakfast tacos. We’ve been to Arron Sanchez’s restaurant, hole in the wall authentic Taquerias, and everything in between and guys honestly, this was such a memorable experience, keep up the amazing work, all of the small details are noticed and appreciated. This is a gem and hopefully you guys make it closer to New England soon!

Placed an order in store this evening and was rushed out the door. My dine-in order was delivered as takeout...not sure why I tipped for a dine-in order to be walked over in a bag and rushed out of the store. Disappointed, I never asked for or wanted take-out.

I have been to this location four times. Three dine ins (lunch, lunch, dinner) and a carry out (dinner).
Not once has this location achieved getting my food to be within 30 minutes. The kitchen seems incapable of managing the rush and the communication, despite seeing that the staff is mic’d up, is not where it should be.
And as a result of this, the whole experience is soured.
