We went to TORI TORI for the first time last weekend. The food and drinks were amazing, but I can’t give the restaurant more than 4 stars. The way the place works is a bit different: you find your own seat, then go to the bar to order both your food and drinks. After that, you can either stay at the bar or go back to your table. We tried the blue crab dip, crab croquette, crab rice, scallop crudo, beef skewers, tomato skewers, scallion and cheese pepper skewers ~ all of them were delicious. The drinks were also really good. They have food runners who bring the food to you, but you still have to go order everything yourself at the bar. The mix of self-service and table service was interesting, but I didn’t love having to wait in line to order and still being expected to tip over 20% (which we did). The bartenders (ours was Thanathep) were very busy, which made sense since it was a Sunday night. I really enjoyed the food and drinks, but because of the service style, I’d give it 4 stars.

Came in tonight with a group of friends for a birthday and was treated like absolute garbage by the bartender. With kids we don’t get out often so this was extremely disappointing. I think she was busy and overwhelmed but it still doesn’t make it right to treat customers like she did us. Our drinks were also subpar. Will definitely never come back.

I don't know why you would go anywhere else in Orlando for cocktails and small plates. Pretty rare you find a place with great service, ambiance, food, and all at a reasonable price.

Love the ordering system, all the food items are at least good if not great. Can't go wrong with the pork belly chimichurri, but the crab fried rice made my toes curl, I'm pretty sure it's the best I've had in Florida.

I'm not a bar person but I will go anywhere that has good food and TORI TORI Is very well known for their food not just their drinks! Specializing in modern Japanese izakaya style dishes and small plates you can try many things and not get full. Toritori being a play on "yakitori" was my main focus, I only ordered 5 different yakitori. My friends who have been before ordered the fried chicken appetizer and we also got the brussel sprouts
Before I get into the food I wanted to note this place opens in the evening and it's first come first serve. There MAY be a line out the door depending on the day of the week, if all the tables are full, you just have to stand around and wait for one to open up and snag it. We got really lucky and didn't wait too long.
Also. Gets very crowded, very loud inside so keep that in mind as well.
Ranking all the dishes I tried the oyster mushroom yakitori were incredible. Just with salt. They were charred and full of flavor it was amazing just how good a simple mushroom was.
The brussel sprout okonomiyaki my friend got was amazing. Probably the best brussel sprouts I've ever had. It feels silly that the 3 best things I tried were all vegetarian. But they were. I loved the pork belly Tori. They were crispy but also melted in my mouth,The chicken thighs and fried chicken were super tender and juicy, top it with some lemon and its perfect. The beef and salt yakitori were good but it wasn't anything mind blowing.
Moving on to drinks, I don't drink alcohol but they make a beautiful assortment of craft cocktails at the bar and our bartender was wonderful. I asked for a fruity mocktail and he hooked me up.
Beautiful large bar. Lots of seating. Good music. Lots of people dress up and it's a fun place to people watch. All of the bussers were working hard and keeping the restaurant and table cleared on rotation rapidly. It can be a little pricey but it's worth it. My only qualm is silly. The lighting in here is ROUGH for cute pictures with friends or even nice food pictures. Low low lighting. Flash makes everything worse. You just gotta hope for the best.

The security guy messed up. He let half of the party in and half of the party had to wait 30 mins to get in.

Delicious! Service was great and food was even better. Ample bar seating.

Get there early as parking and getting a table later on in the evening is challenging. Decent happy hour menu options and prices. I will definitely return to try more items on the menu.

Visiting from NY, so I always love the food scene down here. My girlfriend and I tried this place and it was so unique, for me that is. Everything is ordered via the bar, I think it's a type of eating format I'm not too used to as far as ordering goes. Tapas I'm definitely used to, those are the portions sizes here. Parking is a bit tough iwill say, but the staff are absolutely friendly and nothing short of professionalism. Definitely will go again, no doubt.

Definitely a killer espresso martini!! One of the bet I have had. And it’s literally my fav drink! A group of us went after our Winter Park City Magazine event and it was a great way to end the evening.
