Trader Sam's Tiki Terrace

Live music playing when we arrived early at 6pm. Appetizers came quickly and the non-alcoholic drinks were tasty.

The bar tucked in the corner at the Polynesian resort. The bartenders are usually very entertaining and the drinks are good, but a little pricey (although it is Disney so...). We only ordered drinks.

If you want to sample the Trader Sam's drinks without the wait check out the tiki terrace. For us, we traveled in February and we're desperate to soak up the sunshine. It's lovely and the drinks are delicious.

The rudest staff I’ve ever encountered at Disney. I would not recommend to anyone. Might be a better experience inside Trader Sam’s.

Long time Disney Traveler. Stopped by Sam’s grotto tonight and met “Mindy” she was unable to seat me and had a poor attitude. She told me I could come back tomorrow. Her counterpart then took time to tell me and my guest when they would open tomorrow. It’s a cool enough bar, but I’ll pass on the shitty additiude of Mindy and other servers that may share her mindset.

Ate outside it was just okay

Guitar player was phenomenal tried to tip him he wouldn't take tips cream walking back over give me back my tip the guy was amazing love that guy

After dinner at Ohana's, my girlfriend and I stopped here for drinks with the family. The server was very friendly and the drinks were perfect! I got the featured Margarita, and my girlfriend got the Zombie. Both tasted delicious ? great drinks with a great view of the beautiful Polynesian Resort makes for a magical evening! ? Can't wait to come and visit again!

I love the Dark and Stormy drink here and if you pay and extra dollar they double the liquor and make it what they call
a Category 5 and it’s so good and such a great value.

Often times there is a musician out here by the beautiful waterfall that sings Hawaiian ? songs.

The ambiance is so beautiful.

Very nice outdoor area to grab some drinks and appetizers. The service was great and there was live music. Tried the dumplings and flatbread, the food was actually ready before the drinks (but also amazingly fast, I think because there are only like 4 appetizers on the menu).

While park hopping from EPCOT to Magic Kingdom, I wanted to get one more cocktail. I stepped off the resort monorail at the Polynesian and followed the signs to Trader Sam's Grog Grotto but found out there was a hour and a half wait. The ladies inside the Grotto directed me outside to Trader Sam's Tiki Terrace. Same drinks without the wait. There were many tables outside with umbrellas. They had Complimentary Water (so Complimentary it told me I looked nice). There was someone performing music on the patio as well, but at a pleasant volume. You could still enjoy a conversation and hear the music. On a day less sweltering, I'd definitely be happy to chill on the terrace and enjoy the views and island vibes. From the Terrace, I went to the launch to enjoy a boat ride to Magic Kingdom. I will definitely make this a regular stop when park hopping. I recommend the Spiced Island cocktail.

Always a great place to relax with a cocktail. Souvenir cups in Polynesian style are available even if you order 'to-go'. Some evenings they have live music.

Awesome service, drinks are great, copies of the drinks from inside Trader Sam's. Tables are first come first serve as they empty out. There's usually a live eukelle performance as well.
