DO NOT ORDER FOOD FROM HERE! THE LOCATION IS CLOSED. I JUST SPENT $35 ON FOOD AND WHEN I ARRIVED IT WAS CLOSED. ON SATURDAY @ 4 PM

I ordered pickup from this restaurant and when I got there the place was in disarray and there were contractors working who informed me they were close. Please update your hours if you are closed and turn off the option to order online. I wasted almost $30 and my time for no reason.

This place is genuinely great, the food, the price, and the environment is all outstanding the only thing that I hate is that they are always closed. Even when their sign lists their business hours, the door is always locked and the curtain is pulled back. So if they could list their actual business hours I would give this place a 5 star.

The culinary experience was exceptional, and the ambiance transported me to a tropical paradise. The establishment boasts large televisions and pleasant background music. The service was impeccable, and the owner demonstrated remarkable courtesy by personally inquiring about my needs.

I highly recommend this establishment and intend to return in the future.

Additionally, I was provided with complimentary comedy tickets for Friday, which I will gladly utilize.

A Disappointing Night at Tropical Paradise RestaurantTropical Paradise Restaurant boasts a clean and well-maintained ambiance, making it a beautiful spot with an incredible nightlife energy. However, our experience was soured by the repeated absence of alcohol in our mixed drinks and confusing service for an empty restaurant. The pineapple cocktail was the featured drink for the night. It was pure pineapple juice with no trace of alcohol. Others noted the lack of alcohol in their drinks at our table. The server was missing for extended periods, and our drinks took forever to arrive. At one point, I had to go to the front bar myself to order, and I eventually received more pure pineapple juice, instead of the featured mixed alcohol drink as advertised for that night.Instead of providing a single tab, we were given individual checks repeatedly, after every single drink order. This inconvenient practice forced us to address the issue with the owner. Some were charged $12 for a bottle of domestic beer, despite the menu showing a lesser price. We were also charged credit card transaction fees on every single check, even when paying by debit. This unnecessary hassle contributed to an overall disappointing experience that missed the mark on multiple levels. While the appetizers were delicious, it was frustrating to receive only three plates and napkins, making it impossible to share the food comfortably. Finding the server was a mission, compounding our frustration trying to get more utensils and plates.Furthermore, when attempting to order food to go, the server repeatedly insisted that the kitchen closed at 8 PM, despite the owners' assurance that the kitchen remained open all night to accommodate the evening's show. This conflicting information only added to the confusion and frustration we experienced throughout the evening. We ordered the Oxtail to go, which my wife found enjoyable. However, the question remains: would we return to Tropical Paradise Restaurant? Probably not. I'm not here to slam the restaurant but rather to explain our efforts to correct the experience was missed. Our group gave them chance after chance while on site to do so, but it just made everything not so tropical.

Excellent food and service here. We tried the beef patties, curry chicken combo and jerk chicken plate. They were all delicious and substantial and well presented. The waitress was pleasant and efficient. The bathrooms were clean and modern as well. They are in the process of doing some partial remodeling, which I'm sure will improve the ambience.... A little hidden gem in the South Semoran area, definitely worth a visit.

Parking: Plenty of parking in the front lot

Kid-friendliness: High chairs available.

I went by two days ago with my fiance. The food was incredible. The portions were extremely generous. Their service was the best I have ever received. This is the first time I really felt like family walking into a restaurant. I can not speak highly enough about this restaurant and the staff.

Genuinely the BEST Jamaican food I’ve had. We had the pleasure of enjoying the jerk chicken patty, stew chicken, oxtail, and jerk chicken. All were mouth-watering. The jerk sauce was so impressive! Flavorful with the perfect amount of spicy. The family that runs the business is so kind and they make it clear that they care about the customer and the quality of their food/service. This experience has really stood out for me! Do yourself a favor and come enjoy many meals here!I wanted to add better photos but we had eaten so much before we started writing the review. The lemon and cinnamon cake are to die for!

Brown stewed chicken the BEST I've ever eaten. Their curry chicken taste wasn't what I'm use to, but was still pretty good. I will eat there again.

Read the reviews online and had to give it a try! Disappointed is an understatement! It was my first time and will be my last! The price was great and the customer service was ok, but the food does not taste anything like Jamaican food, might have to do with them having Hispanic working in the back cooking Jamaican food, got the jerk chicken and needless to say there was no jerk seasoning on that chicken, Even my husband who is Hispanic makes a better jerk chicken and rice and peas, if you want really Jamaican food try flavors of Jamaica in Ocoee! I feel like the reviews on these websites about this place are either friends and family or ppl that never had real Jamaican cuisine!!
