bowls and food are decent but the customer service at this location sucks- coming from someone who works in customer service. staff here seems like they’d like to do as little as possible to communicate and appear lazy.
I had a great experience at Tropical Smoothie Cafe recently, and I have to give a special shoutout to Kayla! She was incredibly friendly, professional, and made my visit feel genuinely welcoming. You can tell she cares about customer service and takes pride in her work.
Kayla helped me choose a smoothie based on what I like (ended up getting the Bahama Mama — so good!) and made it quickly, but with care. Everything was fresh, and the store was clean and well-organized. It’s the kind of service that makes you want to come back.
If you're in the area and stop by, hopefully you’ll get to see Kayla — she definitely made my day better!

I have been a Loyal customer to this Tropical Smoothie Location on Kirkman Road for years. At certain points, visiting almost every day. Over 7k in Loyalty points at any given time all from this location. Needless to say, the customer service at this location has become horrible. I had an issue with a manager there about a month ago by the name of Cyra. I will not get into detail here but she was extremely rude and pretty much called me and my 18 year old daughter a liar based on what an employee told her. Embarrassing us in front of staff and a couple pf other customers. I proved to her that the employee had made a mistake and she never apologized. Instead, continued with a nasty attitude and unfortunately what could have been taken care of in a professional way, became a shouting match back and forth. I was given the regional manager (Ryan)'s number by an employee that was visiting from another store and contacted Ryan explaining what my issue was in the store and how I was treated. I asked for a call so that I can express my issue, and he responded with only a text message stating he was looking into the issue with no other resolution. I responded to him asking for a call or a number to tge corporate office because I felt just a text message back was brushing me off and unprofessional. I've waited 3 weeks for a response to my text and he has nit reached back out since. I am extremely dissatisfied with the way the regional manager and tropical smoothie has handled my issue being a loyal customer and I have not been back to that location since. Best advice, if youre looking for a tropical smoothie cafe, go to the nearest location. Customer service here has become non existent.

I went there this morning (08/22) at 8:40am and the store was closed. One staff who was outside told me that manager is on the way. Why is that happened? Store supposed to open at 7:00am.

Shoutout to Reuben I ask for him all the time. The acai bowl is always good. The establishment is clean. I’m always greeted when I walk in. The service is fast. Everyone is friendly and clean looking. The smoothies are good too. 10/10 to everyone. Fast service

It was my first time at this place, so I figured it out. When I got to the register to place my order, the girl with light eyes and brown or slightly reddish hair who was serving was incredibly rude. She would speak to you and answer, staring down at you and glued her phone to the counter. I thought it was very disrespectful on her part, and when she answered, she did so in a curt and rude manner, as if she didn't want to be there. The owners or managers should take action against this type of thing, since there are many people who need a job and would provide better service. I work in customer service and I know what the business is like, but people with this type of attitude can't be tolerated, since it leaves the place in a very bad light, especially if it's the public face of the business. I liked the quality of the product since I only ordered a smoothie while I waited for my order I looked at the other customers as well while they were being served and they were treated the same way. Anyway... I think that people who don't put love into their work are better off dedicating themselves to something else because I assure you that they get ZERO good service. You have to know how to separate your personal life from work and if you have personal problems, it's best to give the position to someone else who truly deserves it and who would do a better job than that girl. I feel sorry for the owners and managers of the place but if they don't take action many people will have a bad experience as was my case.

I've been to this location many times as well as every other tropical smoothie in the Orlando area and beyond, I probably go 4 to 5 days a week for the past 7 years. Normally they're all very friendly, Welcome you at the door. this time at this location on kirkman the person at the register didn't seem like they wanted to work. Very poor customer skills. My order was a peanut Paradise with whey protein and light strawberries with a side of jalapeno corn as it has been for 7 years. When asked the cashier if he/she would make sure they would put light strawberries in it, I got attitude. He went back and there was more attitude from the people making the smoothies and I overheard them saying he'll get what he gets. And of course the smoothie did not have light strawberries. It was turned into a strawberry smoothie. I didn't complain but had to ask for my corn three or four times and waited about 15 minutes while many customers in front of me received their entire orders smoothie and food. It's very unfortunate. This is my favorite smoothie place. I'm always very polite & always tip. I also work in the customer pleasing business and this is not a good look for this franchise, The location & the owner. He/she should definitely take a look at his staff and who is working on this day, maybe employ people that want to be there and take pride in their work cuz this crew was not that..
My first time trying Tropical Smoothie and I went to this location and had a terrible experience. The girl taking my order was super nice, very sweet no problem there. The problem lies when i had to get my food. Took forever and when i did get my order, it was a completely wrong order both drink and food. I had already made it half way when I realized it was wrong so that was annoying. I came back and THEY STILL TOOK FOREVER. And please yall im not a karen, the store is not busy, couple orders here and there and i dont expect mcdonald’s speed but wow. I am personally not come here again

Stopped by for a snack and ordered a few types of their smoothy bowls. The overall service was fine. Nothing spectacular, but overall ok.
The fruit for the bowls was fresh and I must say very delicious: I got the Bahama Mama bowl.
The restaurant looks like it needs a pick me up. There was an overall sense of “thanks for coming, please eat someplace else”. The staff were in no way rude, just not “welcoming” at all.
So, great açaí, ok Bahama mama (strange flavor) fresh fruit. Place definitely needs a new energy though.
