Too pricey
Tropical Smoothie Cafe is wayyy better than other Smoothie shops I've been to. This particular location workers are very friendly & patient while choosing which Smoothie I wanted that day.
I came in on march 5th and the employee came out and did not say a word. so i said hello. still not a word to me. i said ok i'm gonna be a second because i want to sign up for the rewards program. she just walked to the back with still not one word. i was so taken a back. I felt like i ruined her day by coming in. needless to say I walked right out because she was not in th mood and i really thought my order would have been compromised. we all have bad days but to project it on the customer is in poor taste.
Twice now we've tried getting orders from this location. The orders are placed on the app and show that the store is open. Both times the app takes the order and the money, and both times we've arrived and the store is closed. This is absolutely absurd. It seems all the 1 star reviews lately have merrit and whoever runs the account responding, doesn't actually care. This store creates nothing but hassle.
I ordered a smoothie and quesadillas to be delivered to my job. The driver handed me the food and told me the guy working didn't give him the smoothie even though she asked for it bc it was listed in my order. I called several time and I keep hearing people laughing and they would just hang up on me. I wasted my money, wasted points, wasted my lunch dealing with this. I called customer service twice, and nothing has been done in 2 weeks. Horrible service!

Really gone downhill.
A meal is now close to $20 for a flatbread + smoothie.
The girl we had was brand new with no help. Felt bad for her. She had to call her manager to ask how to do a simple substitution. She didn’t even get much help and wasn’t able to get the substitution. Took her a few minutes to find items on the menu.
Not her fault. But how is a new person doing a shift completely alone?
You would think at those prices, you’d have the staffing.
Really sad, because this used to be a staple you could get a healthy meal at an OK price ~$13.
The food didn’t come out great because she was rushed with other customers too.

Sue and serina need training!
My order was canceled. No communication provided. I called 25 minutes before I drove there to confirm the order Serina advised all was good to go and is being made. I waited 22 minutes in the dirty place to tell me they cancelled my order due to not having a side item.(12:50PM) my order was supposed to be ready by 12:25PM
And because I had to wait extremely long, waste my lunch break didn’t get to eat I now have to pay a ticket that was given to me since I was parked longer then the allotted time.
Not to mention…. This food was for a 7 month pregnant female who also wasted her lunch time….. and received no food

I tried calling this location to place an order and when the person answered all I could hear on the phone was super loud rap(?) music. I stated that all I heard was the music but the person didn’t bother turning it down so we could hear each other, instead they hung up on me. They just lost a customer. Very disappointing.
