Tropical Smoothie Cafe

Ordered a wrap and a smoothie, while waiting for the wrap the lady that was making the wrap asked the cashier if I had tipped. I had left the minimum but what would she have done if I had not? there is no reason to ask this while you are making the food.

Very poor service at this location. Recently went due to receiving reward gift from phone carrier. The team member did not know how to assist me with honoring the reward voucher and then called over the supervisor for assistance. The supervisor had a very apathetic attitude towards the app giving problems and said “well you’re not the only one this has happened to today”. Knowing this information and seeing it happen to others you would think she would still honor the coupon. She just stood there and stared at me blankly after. I asked her if she was still going to honor the voucher because it still had 5 hours left to be redeemed and she blankly stared and me and said “NO”. I was in complete disbelief because one this was coming from the “supervisor” and I did plan to order something else. The customer service was completely horrible and seeing her reaction definitely made me not want to spend one penny at this location. Thankfully, I went to the other nearest location and they gave me the service that a customer is suppose to receive at an establishment. They honored the voucher (even with the app still having problems as it did at this location) and the team member also explained other customers had the same experience with the app at this location also. They continued to treat their customers the right way and I placed the rest of my order! It’s an inconvenience that I had to drive 15 minutes out of my way to another location, but I will definitely do it again to receive better service than I did at this location. Completely unacceptable especially being in Lake Nona! Also, please teach your management team management skills because there’s a lack of that skill present.

I rate this place 100 stars. I went to PDQ then I went here for quesadilla and strawberry banana smoothie. I liked it so much. I will definitely come back again.

Was in town for soccer tournament and needs food between the games. Pre ordered on the app and it was ready when we showed up! Friendly staff

On the date of 08/22/2024 I was having lunch with my family in the Lake Nona location. We’re Seating in one of the table for 4 people. Which is the only one in the location. right in the middle of the lunch. Somebody abruptly interrupted my lunch and told that table me a my family were sitting was reserved for interviews and employees. She has asked to move when no employee had said anything before that and no one was getting interviewed. Days prior to today I had sat in the exact same table and had asked one of the employees if I could sit and she said that as long as no one was using it that I could sit there, which is exactly what I did because no one was sitting there. I would also like to make it known that the establishment was pretty busy and the only tables available were tables of 2 and the “reserved” table for employees that had no sign whatsoever. When I asked ti speak to a manager she told that she was the manager and owner she was extremely unprofessional and all i know is that her name was Brittny. After the disappointment we are not going to step a foot in this location,,,,,

I got the chia oatmeal pudding and it was delicious! I added peanut butter and the quantity was perfect. The place is very nice. The only thing is that the cashier was not very kind, but the staff who delivered my order was friendly :)

Big fan of tropical smoothie cafe however I disliked that the machine at checkout tries to automatically add 15% tip. Tipping for a counter based food service is a bit ridiculous if you ask me. Pay your employees better and make tipping more of an option. I was able to change the tip amount to 0 because I was paying attention but if you don’t (like I’m sure many don’t) be prepared to see a tip automatically added to your receipt.

Absolutely the worst service in all of Lake Nona. Valeria has an issue. Would Highly reconsider her employment there. Can’t believe how I was treated after I give business to this place every day.I refuse to go back.
