I have been going to Twistee Treat in Ocoee since 2006 (we also go to the one out by Lake Buena Vista). We moved across twon and was happy to have a location right in Curry Ford. Always the best ice cream cones, shakes, banana splits... everything! I have tried Dairy Queen, Stone Cold, and Andy's Custard. Twistee Treat stands out above all of them (gave 4 stars for the atmosphere because the Plaza's parking lot is dirty and unkept and the drive thru so small I have missed the entrance twice).

I go here all the time and there is always something wrong. My recent visit has finally put the nail in the coffin. I asked for a large butter pecan with rainbow sprinkles and a small vanilla and strawberry swirl on a cake cone with rainbow sprinkles. I had to repeat myself 3 times. 6 I get to the window, the cone had no sprinkles, so I had to ask to put them on. The cup finally came, and it was vanilla with pecans and rainbow sprinkles. I said what is this. She explained what I said it was. Then I said I ordered butter pecan with rainbow sprinkles. She was like ice cream. Then walked away. Then I had to tell someone else it was butter pecan soft serve with rainbow sprinkles. She said yup. I got it, and i went forward. It was vanilla AGAIN with rainbow sprinkles. At that point, I had left and didn't feel like dealing with them again. Needless to say. I will never go back. I 6 even think my order was that hard.

Chad has taken care of me twice and I rather come to this location, which is out of my way because he really cares and treats people great. Bruni was also very nice and attentive. I have a location close to me less than 2 miles and I rather travel 5 miles to buy my desserts just because of the way I'm valued. You might be thinking, but it's just Ice Cream. Yes, but it's my money and I want to spend it where they meet my expectations. Chad makes sure he meets everyone's expectations. Visit this location, and you will see for yourself.

I have always gone to Twistee Treat since I was young and have seen my grandparents go and feel this is always going to be a nice treat at any age. I always feel a sense of nostalgia when I see their iconic building around the city. The staff is friendly, and ordering is easy. Prices are still reasonable and affordable. I went with some friends and they had to go back for seconds. The list of toppings and combinations is so large that you have to go again to try something new. Thank you. The Sunday hit the spot.
