We stayed this weekend and it was amazing! The decor is awesome everytime we were walking to our rooms we saw animals. Every turn there is real items or stories to tell that are coming straight from Africa. The pool is amazing! My daughter loved the slides. It’s ones of the only Disney hotels with hot tubs and it was great. They have a playground out back, it’s always nice to be able to grab the shuttle and go to the parks. It is expensive in my opinion but if you can swing...
We relaxed at Uzima Springs during the last day of our trip. We were able to snag a table with an umbrella, so that helped a lot on a sunny day. The pool was as rambunctious with kids as you can expect, so take that into consideration if it's an issue for you. The drinks were pretty good. Too much on the sweet side for me, but that's tiki drinks for you. Cast Members were very friendly and helpful and even chatted a bit when it wasn't busy. We had 3 drinks each...
Really nice pool bar with a couple TVs, tables, and a decent selection. Staff is nice and helpful with modifications ( I wanted a mocktail since I’m pregnant). My only complaint- I wish they had some more snacks. Even just bags of crackers or fruit cups. They have tiny bags of Lays chips and Doritos. Fortunately the Mara is close by but it would still be so nice.
