My friend and I stopped by for desserts and we enjoyed our treats and were welcomed in by Divi who was such a pleasant person 😊
Thank you for your hospitality.
Nice place. The girl at the counter couldn't be more helpful.
My husband and I are foodies through and through. Whenever there is an opportunity to try a new spot in our travels, we make an effort to go to the best spots. Whether you’re new to the area, needing a place to stop in your travels or looking to discover a new place, this is it! The atmosphere is warm and friendly, with ample seating. Parking is located in the back of the building, so keep an eye out if this is your first time :).
Due to dairy sensitivity, I don’t always get to enjoy quality ice cream, so was very excited to enjoy some of the delicious and unique flavors at this food spot. The mango guava ice cream was decadent and creamy; very good flavor. We also enjoyed the tamarind and lychee ice cream which offered a slightly tart and sweet profile. During our visit, we enjoyed a cup of Cuban cafecito (a small but mighty cup that is rich in flavor) that paired well with the churro cake.
When we are back in the Orlando area, we will make a point to stop here again. Hands down, the best food in quality and flavor 🙌🙌🙌.
Amazing vegan food and desserts! Will definitely be back! My husband and I, as well as, our eleven year old daughter are vegan and we were ALL happy with the food! As an additional plus, I loved that the lady behind the counter asked a customer if she had any allergies and was proactive about it. I feel like this is a rarity; so many people working in a restaurant don't care about allergies and many don't even know the ingredients in the food in order to warn people. I love that she was so proactive in making sure the lady who had ordered the dish wasn't allergic to cashews. That kind of care of rare, but so very appreciated!
I got the pumpkin cheesecake and the banana pound cake and both were very delicious! I would definitely go back!
The cheesecake wasn't the best We've had (wouldn't introduce it to a no vegan..😅), However the cinnamon swirl slaaaaaaaped!! #delicious 😋
The best vegan ice cream I have ever had! I had pumpkin spice with a homemade waffle cone that was delicious. I also had freeze dried strawberry coated cheesecake which was outstanding.
We also ate at A Lo Vegano (vegan cuban food) sister company. I had one of the most delicious meals ever with a fresh buttery (vegan) homemade crescent. The food comes out hot and full of flavor. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
If I lived in Orlando, I would certainly be a regular. I ate there 3 times in one week while visiting because the food was so good, I kept going back. Defiantly recommend!
Happened to be in the area, and my son wanted dairy free ice cream. We were so happy to see that they had chocolate and vanilla dairy free ice cream. It was delicious. The owner stopped by and made sure everything was good. Very delicious and we will definitely have to return.
Had two awesome milkshakes here And I'm thrilled I could get a dairy free option! The pumpkin pie milkshake tastes EXACTLY like it.
Yum! Tried two GF/V desserts and a bowl with extremely generous portions - and staff. Kind, quick, and delicious. Would definitely come back!

So I got the mushroom pepper steak with the cilantro aioli a mimosa with organic mango purée and the pancake plate with cookies n cream ice cream and everything was soooooo delicious. I live allll the way in Ocala and I’m ready to go back already. 10/10 the flavor profile was amazing. I have to go n try everything on the menu. And the proportions were hugeeeeee I ate off my same plate 3 separate times
Hands down one of the best vegan places, I have been to in the south east. My wife has gluten and dairy allergies and this place was a slam dunk for the tasty treats and food. Highly recommended!
We will definitely be back!! Thank you Vegan Scoops we love your shop!
Stopped eating animal and animal products a few years back, but that doesn’t mean that I still don’t enjoy the texture and familiarity of those tasteful dishes. Vegan Scoops not only emulates that, but absolutely left my children in disbelief that we weren’t eating shrimp and chicken. I’m from the beaches so the vegan calamari had me in disbelief. The staff is professional and helpful. Any questions cares or concerns they give you 100%. They have a little bit of everything for somebody who only desires plant based. Once you leave after trying the dessert, you are a new man. Recommended to anyone In the area or it is worth the drive because we will be coming back thank you. Vegan scoops.
I'm not vegan, but this place was delicious
The food here was absolutely fantastic! To be honest, I never thought I’d see the words “vegan” and “Cuban” in the same sentence, but they pulled it off beautifully. I didn’t miss the meat one bit — the dishes were hearty, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying.
My mom and I shared the Cuban Steak plate and the loaded Island Mac Bowl, and both were generous portions — so much food that we left with leftovers (which is always a win). For drinks, we got the Lavender Lemonade. It was refreshing, balanced, and paired perfectly with our meal.
And of course, dessert was a must. We ordered a fogatto and two Cuban pastries, which were the perfect sweet ending. Everything tasted fresh, authentic in spirit, and full of flavor.
What really made the experience even better was the staff. They were incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive, which made the whole visit feel warm and inviting. It wasn’t just about the food — the atmosphere and service turned it into a memorable afternoon.
Yes, the prices are a little higher, but with the quality, the portions, and the overall experience, it’s more than worth it.
Final verdict: a strong 9/10. This place has officially gained a customer for life. I love supporting local businesses, and I truly want to see them succeed. If you’re curious about vegan Cuban food — or even skeptical like I was — trust me, you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommend!
