i have been goin here every wednesday for the past 10 years, i have tried all pizzas in downtown and this is the closest to a perfect NY style pizza, staff is amazing the ingredients used are great quality and you cannot beat the prices- takenit from a NEW YORKER that worked in a italian restaurant for years in hells kitchen new york.
Had a craving for pizza and by chance I just happened to go to Verona's. Well I am so glad I did. I had their lasagna pizza and let me tell you it was absolutely mouth-wateringly delicious. I am from New York and anyone who knows New Yorkers knows we pride ourselves on our pizzerias. Veronas gave me that vibe I inquired about their pizza maker and it turns out he's a New Yorker what are the chances. Do yourself a favor and go have their pizza you will not be disappointed....
Quick easy bite of food while walking the bar/club scene. Not the greatest.... certainly not the worst choice. Pizza slice was hot and greasy like it should be. Crust thin and crispy.There is an odd lil white kid working there that walks back and forth doing nothing but think he looks tough. That was kind of annoying for no reason.I do get the vibe that unsold pizza slices are wrapped in saran wrap and reheated the next day like some pizzerias do. That's gross to me
