DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE! Only 1 person works here. I called an hour in advance to order roti (6 of them). I was quoted a time to come in for it. I came on time.. I was told to wait 7-8 minutes because the other 3 was not ready... I said "sure, okay take your time". She said, "for the inconvenience, I'll only charge you 3.00 instead of 3.50 each for the 6. "I said " okay, thank you. What happened next..she comes out with a large amount of roti 14 minutes later. She says to me , "oh I will wrap yours up now". What does she do next ? Bags up all the roti with food and hands it to another couple that was there. As soon, as the couple leaves , the women says, "oh I will get yours wrapped up?" What do you think she does ? She hands me 2 roti's and says "oh yeah , you can take these two for free". "I said, wait, what ?! You know I have been waiting for 6 of these" . She says, "oh didn't I tell you I only had 2 ? And that sorry now I am sold out of roti". Did I miss something?! She completely lied to my face as if I was some child that had no sense. Please everyone, take your business else where. It is just not worth the time and all the condescending nonsense.

We try to eat here but couldn't enjoy our meal. There was some guy set up large speakers behind here and it was literally vibrating inside where we were. This people were rude when we ask can they turn the loud music down. If you like blaring loud island music, this is definitely the place for you. Otherwise they don't seem to welcoming of people belonging to ethnic groups outside of their own.

This was the best Caribbean food I’ve ever had, and I’ve spent a lot of time in the Caribbean. Chicken curry roti was the bomb, and stew chicken was delicious as well. Great hot sauce too. They even gave us a free cup of sorrel (spiced hibiscus beverage)!

This place is under NEW MANAGEMENT. Trini Cooking just like home. Very friendly and welcoming. Tried the dhalpurie and buss up shut roti, it was really good. Also bought some curried goat with white rice, delicious ?. I will definitely be back to try some of their other dishes. Please don’t take my word for it, go give them a try.

I came to this place on my lunch break because it was close to my workplace and was very disappointed. For $12 this was how full my bowl was, my meat wasn’t even full. Had i known this i would of gladly went to Signh’s Roti Shop off of old winter garden. For the same price you can feed up to 4 people with their servings and they have much better customer service.

The food at Vernonica Roti Shop is exceptional good. The quality exceeds Singh Rotie shop food. Don't take my words, just try it. Remember, it appears to be a new business, it's small, you know the quality must be excellent. I am from Atlanta, Georgia and always looking for a good place to eat West Indian dishes when we are away from home.

I didn’t ask but the one person behind the counter may have been Mrs Veronica, she was most impressive. She was nice, greeted everyone, apologized for having to wait and handled orders very well. I have not had a nicer experience at a West Indian restaurant. Add to that, the food was delicious and I could tell you because I was raised making roti and all kinds of Trinidadian food. I will be back and I live an hour and a half away. I had double and a curry beef with dhalpurie, mmmm!

I normally do not leave reviews but the food was disappointing. Curry goat did not taste like goat. Chicken Roti depressing. Will not spend my money there again. If you want authentic tasting food do not waste your time or money.

I gave a 1 only because I have to. The food tastes old and stale. The dhal puri hard and not enough dhal inside. The food smells bad like it was about to spoil. They need to hire a better cook.

Got a Conch roti, curry mango, and bake and saltfish and it was a no for me. The conch didn't taste like curry, and the curry mango smelled like it was on the verge of going bad. I can't comment on the bake and saltfish because I didn't taste it, it was for someone else. The sorrel was good.

Very nice spot. This is my new, favorite spot for rotis and doubles! Excellent customer service as well. The food is seasoned perfectly. The rotis and doubles are very nicely prepared. I will be back very, very soon for more rotis and doubles.
