Went for a date night with my fiance, it was our first time and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It was such a nice ambiance, food was delicious and the server, Joyce, was even better! For our first time we were really impressed! Not only that, the speaskeasy was such a cute little space we loved everything about Voodoo Bayou! Will be back!!
Amazing food - taste and portions. Drinks great and the gator and the stuffed macaroni as starters! Shrimp and grits and other dishes that were spicy with the crock. Amazing service and fun for a twist
Fantastic food was great, entertainment was great. To be honest this is a close to New Orleans style Cajun food that we've had without actually going to New Orleans and funny enough we had just returned from a stop in New Orleans the Saturday before coming in.
Jess our server was amazing. It was our first time and she recommended everything from drinks to dinner options. Everything was amazing. We will definitely be back.
The deviled eggs were not good, they had a really weird flavor to them. The bacon Benedict was slightly above average, however the bacon part of it was really good. My partner got attouffee and it was absolutely delicious. The banana and bread pudding was so good. Mimosas were worth it. The inside is absolutely stunning and has a chill cool vibe. I 10/10 would recommend
We had the best New Year's Eve celebration! The food was incredible and our server Kelsey was the best! It was our first time at Voodoo Bayou- Orlando. Kelsey made wonderful recommendations and her service was fantastic. The live band was awesome too. I would highly recommend this restaurant
Everything I expected and even more. Second time I spent New Year's Eve there does not disappoint.
Why was there techno dance music playing??? It ruined the whole vibe. Food was good. Biscuits and Beignets were excellent! Drinks had very poor ratio of drink to slushy ice and a bad value for a few sips of cocktail for $17.
The event was treated as special even though it was just a birthday. The staff and service went over and above, tremendous experience
My daughter had brick chicken and it was ok. I had shrimp and grits the grits was I can't even explain the taste and texture. Negative 0, sauce was tomato nasty. Only thing was good was the shrimp and beignets.

We visited Orlando and were looking for a casual dining option near our hotel. This place had a 4.6-star rating, so we decided to give it a try. We made reservations at 11 a.m. and were seated fairly quickly. The restaurant wasn't crowded, which was a plus. The theme was interesting, but I didn't understand what we had to do to sit on the seats with the leopard to get to the other side. The oysters were satisfactory, but the buffalo chicken wings were overcooked and underseasoned. The sauce was served on the side, which we found to be a bit disappointing. One of the water cups was rusty and cloudy, so I didn't drink from it all night. I think the O2 tank was empty, which caused all the soda products we ordered to be flat. It was very disappointing when we started with one flat beverage and then had to switch to another that we didn't even want, only to find it was the same. The brick oven roasted chicken was also disappointing. The chicken had a nice sear, but it was lukewarm and tasted like it had been boiled. The scalloped potatoes were thick as brick and resembled tofu, lacking flavor. The collard greens were extremely bitter, likely due to the abundance of stems. The white rice was an afterthought, with the underwhelming amount of seasoning from my other dishes. The live music was a plus, but overall, I was disappointed with the lack of seasoning in the food. As a Louisiana-based restaurant, I had high expectations for these popular Louisiana dishes, which I believed should have been executed with precision.
Great experience server Jason was exceptional. BBQ Shrimp was great and Pear salad was fresh and had great flavor. Brick oven chicken lacked a depth of flavor. Charred broccoli and cauliflower had great flavor but lacked temperature. Salmon was ok lacked seasoning plate carried by the sauce that was good overall dish very underwhelming! Scalloped potatoes were delicious.
Service was great. Atmosphere was awesome. Food was less than adequate overdone and not great. Unsure we will give it another try.
Our server was engaging, friendly, and attentive. Made it special for my friend's birthday
Terrance gave great recommendations. My girlfriend and I will definitely be back to try more items on the menu!
