We go to woodland since years now.. but this time food quality was declined..dosa was good as usual but sambhar was not edible. Watery like rasam.. and red pepper was just added on top so you can taste just the pepper. We complained about so was told by owner that it is fresh that’s why it’s watery. Later the vegetable will make it thicker. Does it even make sense? I have to think twice before I go back now.

Woodlands in Orlando is a hidden gem for anyone who loves authentic South Indian food. The moment I walked in, the aroma of fresh dosas and spices made me instantly hungry. The place has a relaxed, no-frills vibe, and the staff are friendly and quick to serve. The food here really stands out — everything tastes homemade and packed with flavor. This places shares the name with a famous chain from India. That alone was motivation enough for us to try it out, as we’ve been to the one in Udupi, India. The restaurant is 100% vegetarian. The food was hit and miss. Hits: - Idly - Medu Vada - Thali - Filter Coffee - Chatni Misses: - Sambhar (was average) - Rava masala (basic) - Bisibele Bath (not authentic)
