Yachtsman Steakhouse

A wonderful evening that exceeded all expectations! The restaurant's ambiance and New England charm were both inviting and elegant. The service extraordinary! Our server Bonny-Lynn was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive without being intrusive- which isn’t easy to do. She read the table and made sure each course wasn’t rushed, but the next course came out on time, fresh, warm and delicious! Meeting the man responsible for that, Francesco, the chef, who came out to the table to greet us and welcome us to his restaurant was the first of many magical experiences that evening. The Manager, Ray also stopped at the table - and just like Francesco, couldn’t had been more gracious, kind or welcoming! Our steaks were cooked to perfection- the sides that were served, wonderful and all seamlessly presented by Bonny-Lynn! As if all this Disney Magic wasn’t enough, Francesco personally presented a special dessert plate to us with “Happy 35th Anniversary” scripted in chocolate to our table! A magical night that was sprinkled with Magical Pixie Dust from the time we arrived, until the time we departed!

We tried it here while staying at the Beach Club with family. Glad we did. The steak, seafood, pasta, bread, lobster bisque, and all of our food was very very good! The service was great too! I highly recommend it here. For comparison, we liked Le Cellier slightly better than here but thought the food here was much better than Narcoossee's. We will definitely come here again if we ever stay at the Yacht/Beach Club or Boardwalk Resort.

The best steak on Disney property, the best steak on our whole vacation. We have a carnivore in our party so they know their steak, they nearly cried and we visited 2 more times on our trip as it was so good. The staff are knowledgable and friendly, and the kitchen staff follow requests to perfection.

Amazing dinner. Started with the french onion soup and Caesar salad. Both delish. Then my husband and i shared the prim rib which was the best on disney property. Brussel sprouts were great but they could ease up on the sauce. Great service.

The food here was absolutely amazing. The kids menu was excellent and inexpensive. My son got the steak, fries, and Mixkey puzzle. The mickey puzzle was made from white chocolate and came with icing he could paint with. We got the ribeye and it was so tender and flavorful. It came with a potato stack with a white cheese sauce.-Amazing! The house made onion bread was so good my son who doesn't eat bread at a whole roll. The lemon cake was so airy and creamy and the chocolate mouse cake that was given to us for our anniversary was fabulous and so decadent. The waitress Kathy was very kind and knowledgeable. Another waitess noticed my son was cold and brought him a fresh tablecloth to wrap around him. Somewhat elegant, was perfect for our anniversary dinner.

Dan/ Daniil our server from Lithuania was fantastic- incredibly knowledgeable and very friendly. We had a great meal for our last night at the park. Advice to all- get the onion bread

Worst experience all vacation (and here for 3 weeks) . I ate here last year and it was lovely. This year, I had to wait almost an hour for a steak (didn't order anything else), it came overly fatty (I got tired of cutting off the the fat), and the side (green beans) were smothered in garlic but too much, it just took over the plate. Really disappointing. Total waste of an evening.

Amazing place and amazing food.
We took several entrees, the places served additional bread and butter for free. The onion bread wonderful, soft with strong flavour of onion, i couldnt help myself from filling myself even before the rest of the meal came up.
Ribeye steak- smooth and soft texture but with somwhat weak flavour. Only the crust had strong flavour, overall good dish.
We took several side dishes with the steak.
Mushrooms in wine- tasty and juicy, excelent.
Brussel sprout- great flavours, mixure of sweet, bitter and salty, which i realy liked.

The food is fabulous. The atmosphere and location are great. A bit slow on refilling waters. We will definitely return.

The menu needs work. They took away the things that made this a great steakhouse. A 7oz filet for a steakhouse is an embarrassing size. No dry aged beef? No porterhouse anymore? Whoever decided to take away the classics needs to reevaluate their decision.

Miguel really took care of us and gave extra special attention to our baby to make sure he was well accommodated and comfortable. That truly means the world to me and my wife. He is one of a kind and hope to see him again next stay. The food was delicious and cooked perfectly
