Seen this reccommended but disappointing. Pollock is an inferior quality cheaper fish to the Haddock and Cod traditionally served in the UK. Tge batter was too thick and rubbery. The chips were frozen instead of made from freshly peeled poratoes like in British Chippies. Not a reflection of good quality Fish and Chips commonly served in the UK.
Honestly, I was expecting a little bit more of a letdown but it was surprisingly delicious. Maybe due to the Food and Wine Festival being the main event, but I thought it was made fantastically. It's not going to beat an English Mom and Pa shop, sure, but it was pretty damn delicious in comparison to the rest of the food that I've tried around Disney. Definitely recommend if you're craving!

I have been here several times with my wife and friends… most of the time the food is good and portions are good size… we have annual passes so this is always a place we normally like… this time the fish was pitiful, over cooked, chewy and very small portions.. our group was very very disappointed in our visit yesterday… very sad showing guys… also the server wasn't friendly as they normally are… i wish i had taken pics… i wasn't gonna leave a review, but decided to after the fact…

Simply the best fish and chips on the PLANET! And I studied in England and this is better than 99% of the British fish and chips. Only con is when it's raining there is nowhere to sit

The fish & chips are pretty good as far as theme park food goes. The fish is tasty but it's batter is a bit clumped and grainy. It's very oily, and having many orders ready in advance isn't good for the chips/fries as they become saturated in the oil from the fish rendering them largely inedible.
Thursday, Sept. 5th, 2024 @ 2:00 The fish and chips were sub-par when we had them at the outside kiosk. Terribly chewy fish and batter. There was quite a few fish and chips already cooked and lined up on the counter waiting to be purchased.

Only place in the park that makes you stand in the regular line for mobile order pick up, I’ll just avoid this place next time with such a stupid setup.
“It’s not a faster way of ordering, just another way of ordering.” That’s just plain silly and stupid.

The fish tasted like boxed fish and hard to find somewhere to sit down.

For me, this was the best fish&chips I’ve ever had!!!
Returning to the Yorkshire County Fish Shop after over 15 years was bittersweet. Once a highlight of my Epcot visits, it seems the magic has faded somewhat over the years. The food itself—fish and chips—remains a staple, but the overall experience has changed, and not for the better.
First, let's talk about the seating, or rather, the lack of it. Despite being an hour out from the nightly fireworks, finding a place to sit was impossible. As someone who is now handicapped, the struggle was real. The lack of accessible seating was frustrating, especially as others had claimed chairs to save spots for relatives who hadn’t even arrived yet. With no other options, I ended up eating my fish standing up, using what I thought was a makeshift table, only to be told by a maintenance worker that I was actually using a trash receptacle. The whole situation was not just disappointing but a bit disheartening as well.
The fish itself was fine, but it lacked the charm and freshness I remembered. The quality seems to have slipped, and the employees, while efficient, seemed more like they were processing orders in a factory than selling an experience, which is a stark contrast to the Disney I remember from the 80s. The building itself is starting to show its age, with signs of rot visible on the exterior fascia.
Overall, my recent visit left me disappointed. It's clear that Disney's attention to detail has slipped, at least in this corner of Epcot. I have an annual pass and plan to return later this year, hoping for a better experience, but for now, it seems like the magic of the Yorkshire County Fish Shop might be a thing of the past. I hope Disney can find a way to bring back the care and experience that made places like this so special.

Fish portion has shrank dramatically from the last time I ordered many years ago. I also remembered it was a bit salty, so they were able to lessen the salt when we ordered this time around. Added malt vinegar to the fish and thick fries. It’s delicious. Give it a try if you like vinegar.

The fish fillet is a big portion, but the fried skin is very hard! Scratching my mouth, I didn’t find it very tasty. The fish in the middle was pretty good. I wonder if it’s one of the few edible ones in the amusement park? You can use the app to order and pay for food first, and it is very convenient to take it directly when you arrive?

I've tried fish 'n chips in London, and now here at Epcot's British Pavilion several times. Epcot's beer-battered version is perfectly golden fried, crunchy & delicious and always served hot. The "chips" (British term for French fries) are satisfying. Grab some packets of malt vinegar, tartar sauce & ketchup before you search for limited outdoor seating overlooking the World Showcase lake. TIP: Try eating early or late during the lunch/dinner hour to avoid the crowds.
