Loved everything about this place.
I got the crab tomato udon (?) I hope described it correctly.
The food was top-tier. My colleagues ordered cold noodles but they weren't much of a fan, but I was.
We came in to eat during our business trip, got seated right away, and they kindly explained all the details of ordering and food options.
101% recommend! Fair pricing too.

Stopped here based on the great reviews and Zaru did not disappoint. The eggplant was so flavorful and delicious! We had the miso udon, the shrimp tempura, fried gyoza and the chicken kaarage. My partner and I split the meal so we could go next door and try some of the food at Mills Market.

The service was excellent and the two servers who helped us were very kind and helpful with recommendations.

Will definitely be back! ❤️❤️

The Udon was Delicious! Beautifully decorated and the presentation was impressive. We even got to watch how they made the fresh udon noodles! Highly recommend this restaurant!

WOW! Truly loved my dining experience here tonight. What was on the menu for me:
-Hojicha tea: refreshing, light, and very fresh, perfect palate cleanser during my meal
-Tatsuta-Age: so crispy and the chicken was super juicy. Whatever the seasoning was on top was amazing. Shareable portion size for sure. Great starter, also interested in returning for the gyoza!
-Nikutama Udon: favorite part of my meal! The broth was super rich and flavorful. The beef tasted great and I loved the chewy udon noodles. 10/10 for me.
- Tempura: I got the shrimp and sweet potato tempura. I absolutely loved both but the sweet potato was my favorite out of the two. Debated getting a second order but was too full!
-Warabi Mochi: glad I tried this dessert! Not only was it fun to eat but the flavor was lightly sweet and a perfect end to a big meal. Would be fun to share!
The service was fantastic and as a solo diner I felt totally comfortable. Will absolutely be returning. I would certainly suggest trying out Zaru if you haven’t yet, definitely on my go to restaurant rotation now!

I made homemade udon noodle but WOW we’re these so much better. I love the atmosphere and the food was amazing. Do yourself a favor. Stop in try the udon, my friends you will not be disappointed. It is a small place so you may have a little wait but it is worth it.

The flavors and culinary creativity were TOP notch. So impressive and explosive. Some of the best (elevated umami) Japanese food we’ve had. Michelin caliber while being affordable. Our servers were consummate professionals making our experience even better. Mars, Amy and Emily…. GREAT job. Thank you!!

Visited this place months ago with some friends. Loved it! Great service and food. Expect there to be a little bit of a wait as there is very limited seating and it is a well-anticipated restaurant in the area!

Hands down one of the best Japanese restaurants I've ever been to! We had the dumplings to start, the tomato crab udon, Yamakake Udon, and.. I believe the Nori Udon (but I can't remember). The Crab Udon was my favorite! We also had a coffee with this fantastic topping that tasted like the inside of a candy bar. The mocktail of the day was this amazing mango drink. The atmosphere was contemporary with traditional elements and overall relaxed with just enough refinement to feel a little fancy while still being comfortable. I cannot remember the name of our server but he was so friendly, professional, and charming. The Michelin is well-earned here and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to have an amazing meal at a reasonable price.

I had higher expectations coming here. Udon was okay. But the Chicken Chashu was great! Service was okay.

Had the shrimp tempura, sweet potato tempura, Nikutamu udon and spicy miso tantan udon. All were delicious. The udon noodles were super fresh. The mocktail was really good too.
