Best udon I’ve ever tried, especially the one with uni. Good service as well.

? Ambience, Service, and Food - Wonderful! ?
I decided to grab dinner here prior to attending an event at the Dr. Phillips Center about ten minutes away. There was a 15-20 minute wait before I was notified that my table was ready. The interior is small and intimate with a lovely ambience. Staff were all very friendly and answered all my questions. The food tasted wonderful, and the gyoza was among the best I’ve ever had. If you plan on eating here for dinner on the weekend, I recommend giving yourself plenty of buffer time—both for parking and service.
Did I mention the desserts? I got one of each (mochi and hojicha panda cotta) and both were scrape-up-every-bite good!

Most delicious Udon. Most delicious food on a hot liquid I've had in my life. Service went perfect.

This has been on my list for a hot minute. I pass it constantly and today was the day. Came in at 4pm and there wasn't a soul in the whole restaurant. Felt very personal I loved that. Me and my friends ordered 3 appetizers and split them, the eggplant, the gyoza and the fried chicken. All 3 were extremely hot and fresh, to the point we could barely put them in our mouths. Out of the 3, the eggplant was definitely the best. The sauce that eggplant is cooked in, is to DIE for. The fried chicken was good. And the gyoza were good. The crispy lacy bottom on them is aesthetically pleasing but so messy. We got crumbles everywhere. Moving on to the main meal. This is a udon restaurant so we all got udon. You pick your udon of choice and for additional charge you add toppers. 2 of us got shrimp tempura udon and another the beef udon. The beef was absolutely the most delicious of the 3, I will be ordering it next time.
All of the appetizers, sides, tempura were all phenomenal, but I won't lie. Would I say this is the best udon I've ever had? Probably not. But it was very good. The dashi broth was very good and the noodles are made fresh daily in house which I admire. My experience here and service were fantastic. Definitely try their mocktails of the day. Would come back here for sure in the future.

Good atmosphere, good flavor with the food but I personally was thrown off by the different spices I had to put in the Udon. Not a bad experience, I just needed a tutor for a few minutes!
Food is fun to try, service is no good, doesn’t seem like professional servers.

This is not going to be a fun review. This was a restaurant I was super excited for. I was happy to finally get a free day and check this out. The atmosphere and vibe of this restaurant is incredible. The service is amazing and everyone here is super nice. This place falls short on the food. What I have come to realize about restaurants and Michelin reviewed restaurants is that a Michelin review/bib/star is given more for the ambiance and presentation rather than the actual taste. Don't get me wrong this isn't bad tasting, it just doesn't have substance. It's very surface level from the presentation to the smell to the first bite. It's almost tricking you into thinking this has to be good because of how it looks and the setting. Trust me and don't be tricked. It is average. So painfully average. It's fun once but would I ever come back, no. Will I warn people about this, yes. Keep in mind this is not the best food. But this does have some of the best ambiance you can find on mills. Do with that what you will.

really good! i didn’t know it was an udon place when i sat down but it still didn’t disappoint.
we had the pork gyoza and the tatsuage chicken appetizers and they were superrr good; the gyoza were really nice and crispy on the bottom and tasted flavorful, and the chicken was super tasty.
the udon itself was great too, super flavorful broth and meat. the noodles have a unique texture; i personally wasn’t as huge on it as i am regular noodles, but that’s just personal preference, not really the fault of the restaurant

Everything about this place is incredible. The Mocktail of the day, that incredible cold, sesame, coffee, all The perfect bites. Jessica was our server. She knocked it out of the park. The menu was a little bit overwhelming and as you see the huge plates flow out of A very open kitchen You may feel a little overwhelmed that’s just the excitement of everything that’s to come. Jessica and the rest of the staff held my hand and guided me. We started with the crab salad. I’d call him Doobies. But basically crab salad, rice seaweed you roll it yourself super fun and then they have these reasonably priced items that are all fried tempura. We got fried chicken okra these little chili peppers these incredible tempura shrimp but really the star of the show was this gigantic bowl of beautiful soup. The noodles Are fat and slippery. The broth has a flavor that I could only describe perfect. The slices of beef tender and rich. Anyways, if you’ve read this far, understand, this restaurant is a perfect example of excellent food.

Great udon options. We tried the spicy miso udon and the wagyu udon. Both were great but the miso one was impressive. The gyozas are supposed to be good, though we may try those next time. We also had the crab salad, pretty good for an appetizer.

Definitely give it a try. The food was delicious. The staff were really patient about explaining the menu. I had the chicken nan ban udon with tempura mushrooms and nori. The flavor of the chicken was so tasty. I like the decor too.
