Applebee's Grill + Bar

We came to Ormond Beach for Christmas 🎄 vacation..we came to this location to get lunch before checking into our hotel. Detty (according to the receipt, because I don't recall her saying her name or wearing a name tag) she was very helpful and attentive. My daughter had I both ordered the ultimate classic combo. I got the wonton tacos, Buffalo wings, and quesadillas. And my daughter got the wonton tacos and two orders of Buffalo wings. She also got a strawberry margarita. And I got a strawberry lemonade. The wonton tacos were different here in Ormond Beach verses in Atlanta where I live. The shell was airy and like a light weight cracker and broke very easily, so I didnt really care for that. Everything else was pretty delicious. We will visit again if in the area again.

Went in had a seat at the bar was there more than 10 minutes with only 2 other people at the bar having a beer. Finally was asked if I could be helped decided on the pretzel sticks with bar pub cheese it was excellent. Never was asked if I wanted a refill on my unsweetened tea. Two employees were complaining that they didn’t have help and were short handed. Place was not busy at all but from the service end it was very understandable. Would not recommend until staffing problems are remedied.

I have come to this Applebee's a couple times in the last few months. It has been consistent with food and service both great. Monique was our server and she was awesome and friendly. Nice to have good servers!

I guess today the manager nor the hostess wanted to be at work. I’d much rather for people to call in than to serve me with an attitude. Today (the Friday after Thanksgiving) I placed a mobile order through DoorDash. I walk into the red to pick up my order the hostess comes already with attitude “can I help you”? I said yes, I’m here to pick up my mobile order. She then proceeds to ask “Did you already place the order “? I looked confused for a second because why would I be here to pick up a mobile order if I had not already placed it. That just didn’t make sense to me. So then proceeded to answer her question with “Yes”. She got my name, grabbed my order and sat it down as if she didn’t want to hand it to me personally. I was already hungry and didn’t want to waste time going back and forth about her rudeness. I got home to call back to inform the manager what had happened. I felt like that was a waste of time because he too was acting nonchalant. I know it’s the holidays and maybe stress levels maybe were high but they weren’t even that busy. Maybe four tables full and 3-4 people at the bar. If they didn’t want to work they should’ve just kept their attitudes at home.

Went over there for chilis… me and my boyfriend love chilis but they closed early for thanksgiving… so we went here and now I’m on the toilet with diarrhea… on my birthday and thanksgiving. The server was rude and we left extremely disappointed in the food… so yea just go to chilis

I had grilled chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans. The food was fair. The service was good and the decor was typical for an Applebee's chain restaurant.

I recommend this restaurant but stay away from the 2 for 25 deal
