I overheard people saying it was the best ribeye (if I recall right - I’m a vegetarian here, lol) they have ever heard. I had French fries and the house salad and it was great! We were blown away with the hospitality, kindness and quality of food. I would definitely recommend, plus you’re right across the street from the beach!”

“Where to begin?! We went for supper last night with a friend visiting from out of town. It was a first time for all of us and we were absolutely BLOWN AWAY! From the tastiness of a simple appetizer [herbed bread with butter, pesto, and olive oil for dipping], to the incredible entrées [filet medallions with Parmesan risotto, chicken carbonara], and ending with one of the most decadent desserts [brownie a la mode] we had ever had, all of us left talking about it and planning our next visit. It was so, so delicious. We were able to speak with the manager Nick, and he was beyond pleasant and friendly. My husband and I have both worked in restaurants before and to see a manager take such time and care in ensuring guests are happy and enjoying themselves is next level service. Our waitress Katelyn was wonderful as well, and funny by joining in and cracking some jokes back at my husband. We cannot say enough positive things about SoNapa, specifically this Ormond location. We will most certainly be back and highly recommend going to see for yourself! No photos because we were living in the moment and savoring every single bite!!”

“Daytona Dog Beach Inc hosted our April Paw Ambassador Celebration at Ormond Garage. The outside patio served as the perfect setting where our volunteers could choose to bring their pups along too. Frank, GM, and Joy, our waitress welcomed us warmly, anticipated our needs and delivered excellent food, drinks, and service. They had signs welcoming us, introduced our guests to their dog-friendly menu and dog loyalty cards. The pups who ordered from the menu gave it a "paw-five". Probably worth mentioning my wife is Chinese and her blood pressure shot up when told over the phone that it was rice not noodles.”

My husband’s birthday was the day after Easter, and I did not realize that German chocolate cakes require ordering in advance at Publix (I thought there would at least be a bar cake or mini cake available in that flavor). After checking with Publix & being told that they couldn’t accommodate for a same-day German chocolate cake of any kind, I started calling around to bakeries. I knew it was a real long shot and felt a little silly even asking for a last minute German chocolate cake! But it was my husband’s one request. And sure enough, after explaining the situation to her, Kim went above & beyond to get me one the same day! And it was delicious!! The rich, dark chocolate cake was amazing, and definitely did not come off as a last minute ditch effort on my part, haha! Very thankful and highly recommend!!”

“It's not an exaggeration to write that it's the best pizza I can remember having in my life. Crust was think and crunchy, sauce was delicious, meat toppings were fantastic (pepperoni, ham, sausage, bacon). Cheese was fresh and tasty. In my college days, I would have lived off of this stuff. For as delicious as the pizza was, the owners were gracious and attentive. I'm "old school" in that part of the dining experience involves the service and interaction. Bruno's is family-owned, and I believe in supporting small businesses. If family or friends were in town and wanted pizza, then I'd take them to Bruno's without hesitation.”

Let me tell you .. the food is fantastic ! It’s always been outside the box / simple Mexican , fresh and delicious , also generous portions ! And the Margs were the best in town , hands down ! They are fresh with lemon and not sweet . List of Mexican places around but the food isn’t as fresh or their margs as good . The manager was very attentive , the waiter very friendly . Every corner is interesting including an indoor Koi pond, beautiful art, amazing gift displays and a hundred different flavors of old and new fashioned sodas. The outdoor seating is equally as fun and interesting surrounded by nostalgia and art. And if that isn't enough, you can stroll into the Dunns Attic antique shop right through the Cafe doors. “The McDonald's on 100 n Nova Rd has the sweetest older lady who takes my order she does many jobs there, I stopped by today and no AC again this is a ongoing problem the poor woman was soaked in sweat and her face was pale I could see she was overheated and she was running orders outside. I took my drinks out of my carrier while waiting on my food and started to fan her she said that's so sweet but you don't have to do that, she said I know I want to I feel so bad for you. McDonald's your employees should not have to work in that kind of heat. Also I would not eat there because it was so hot in there. I like the restaurant always clean and front counter woman so sweet but they shouldn't have to work in those conditions.”

Crust was think and crunchy, sauce was delicious, meat toppings were fantastic (pepperoni, ham, sausage, bacon). Cheese was fresh and tasty. In my college days, I would have lived off of this stuff. For as delicious as the pizza was, the owners were gracious and attentive. I'm "old school" in that part of the dining experience involves the service and interaction. Bruno's is family-owned, and I believe in supporting small businesses. If family or friends were in town and wanted pizza, then I'd take them to Bruno's without hesitation.”

“My husband and I visited the West location. We were greeted by a cheery winetender named Arielle who gave us a tour of the impressive wine selections before we sat down to enjoy the cozy ambiance, jazz and large screen video that brought us right to the beauty of Italy's Amalfi Coast. We only drink organic wine and she reccomended a bottle of Friend of Farmers Verdejo which is now our favorite. She also suggested pairing it with a fruit and cheese platter which was the perfect pre dinner compliment. A special cheese made only from high mountain sheep in Spain called Manchego also paired with dates and more, even gluten free crackers by our request, was decadently enjoyed. I shifted mood for my usual Tequila and to my surprise they also offered mixed cocktails by the can and the Margaritas I had were delicious. There was a pleasant small crowed there, nothing overly loud which made for an intimate happy hour duck away. Wine Not West is a very special place in Ormond Beach. “I had the Italian grilled cheese for $11.00. It was the best grilled cheese ever. There were no sides with the sandwich, but for me it was ample. I was only able to eat half and brought the other half home for dinner. The focaccia was excellent. Very little room to eat inside but the day was warm and we ate in their lovely outdoor eating courtyard in the back. I am so happy to have this great little shop in our area.”

“We visited Tipsy Taco Saturday and ordered the mahi tacos , the big burrito they have ( it’s gigantic ) , the kids menu ( 2 items ) and 2 of their skinny margaritas . Let me tell you .. the food is fantastic ! It’s always been outside the box / simple Mexican , fresh and delicious , also generous portions ! And the Margs were the best in town , hands down ! They are fresh with lemon and not sweet . List of Mexican places around but the food isn’t as fresh or their margs as good . The manager was very attentive , the waiter very friendly . It was delicious probably one of the best cappuccinos I have had in years ! We ordered Parmesan cheese , Focaccia Bread , Sopressata , Capocollo . Everything was delicious. “Where to begin?! We went for supper last night with a friend visiting from out of town. It was a first time for all of us and we were absolutely BLOWN AWAY! From the tastiness of a simple appetizer [herbed bread with butter, pesto, and olive oil for dipping], to the incredible entrées [filet medallions with Parmesan risotto, chicken carbonara], and ending with one of the most decadent desserts [brownie a la mode] we had ever had, all of us left talking about it and planning our next visit. It was so, so delicious. We were able to speak with the manager Nick, and he was beyond pleasant and friendly. My husband and I have both worked in restaurants before and to see a manager take such time and care in ensuring guests are happy and enjoying themselves is next level service. Our waitress Katelyn was wonderful as well, and funny by joining in and cracking some jokes back at my husband. We cannot say enough positive things about SoNapa, specifically this Ormond location. We will most certainly be back and highly recommend going to see for yourself! No photos because we were living in the moment and savoring every single bite!!”
