Betty's A1A Cafe

I heard they are closed for good.. not sure?? I love this restaurant and have always had a great lunches there. Never been for dinner but know it would be wonderful!

Some friends decided to bring me here. It is NY Eve so we had a small wait. Our server Marcia also let us know that food would be a bit longer than usual. We all ordered the special Seafood Casserole. Oh YUM! The Berre Blanc was so creamy and the seafood was cooked perfectly! Marcia did an excellent job although we did notice the people at the table next to us were being quite unpleasant and impatient. I am from up North and have been in the business so I can be quite difficult to please and I give this place a huge thumbs up! The desserts looked mouth watering but that sauce was filling so we passed. I will be back and make sure I bring my family and friends. It’s hard to find consistently good seafood in this area!

Food is excellent. Servers are very efficient and friendly. We love the location and eating outside is wonderful.

Excellent food was awesome and staff was excellent also. Almost as good as going out in cape cod for seafood

Best onion rings ever! Shrimp and scallops were cooked prefect! Everything I had ever eaten here is outstanding!

Always excellent good! The clam chowder is amazing, the onion rings are home made and scrumptious, home made desserts. Haven't found anything on the menu that not fantastic! So is the service!

This place is a must stop! The food if fantastic! Stopped for lunch, first time here. Seating was plentiful, indoors and out, parking no problem. Tried the chicken parm with pasta and the shrimp BLT. So darn good. Shrimp nice and hot and still managed to be crispy not soggy. Cold slaw was good too. Chick parm was delish. Fresh cheese and the meat sauce was fantastic. Not sweet, not overloaded with spices very good.

Not our 1st time there. The whole belly clams were outstanding. Service was impeccable, as always. Can't say enough about the Carrot Cake, it was to die for.Will definitely be back when I return toPalm Coast in January.

Wife had the seafood (crab, shrimp and scallop) "cake" and enjoyed it a lot. Grand daughter had broiled shrimp and they were great according to her. Me- a burger guy- perhaps the best bacon cheese burger in the area ............. cooked perfectly, and a 1/2 lb'r

The food is always good. The views of the ocean are pretty. A bit pricey like any other seafood, but reasonable. I had the clam strips this trip, because I was on a budget. Some were tough, most were perfectly cooked. The sweet potato fries are really tasty. I also like the regular fries and the onion rings. The Thursday special is Thanksgiving turkey, gravy, stuffing, green beans at a very good price and heartwarming delicious. Didn't get that this day tho.

On a Sunday my wife and decided we had not been to this restaurant in a long time and arrived about 1:00 pm. We were seated immediately and the restaurant was slightly busy. The wind was very strong and there was no way we could eat outside on their patio tables but it might be nice when cooler weather comes and to sit and watch the ocean. My wife had the chicken noodle soup with fresh vegetables. I had a special, shaved prime rib with potato cakes made with cheese and panko breadcrumbs. The dish included broccoli that was fresh and cooked perfect. Both of us would order it again, it was that good. Service by Melissa was very good. Tables were also well spaced because of the covid virus. Everyone we saw going in and out were wearing masks except at their table, like us.

From what I've seen, Betty's doesn't same to get as packed with people and being crazy busy like some other Beach restaurants. The service here is good and the staff friendly. The atmosphere is relaxed and there is indoor and outdoor dining. Depending on where you're seated you can comfortably look out at the sea. The seafood here is quite good and it's done right. Prices are not inexpensive but I wouldn't call them expensive either. Check out their homemade cakes and pies... ..outstanding. There's nothing particularly exceptional at Betty's but it's a solid four star place to eat.

Absolutely love this place. The best clam chowder. And Coconut cream pie. Fantastic service always!!

We had lunch at Bettys and were most impressed. First off the restaurant was squeaky clean and the entire staff wore appropriate PPP. That said, the food and service were both excellent. The restaurant had a good number of patrons but the food was served quickly & hot. We had the blackened Mahi and the scallop sandwich with homemade onion rings, which is a house specialty. Both were excellent and the portions were large. We will go there for dinner next time as they have a large selection of other entrees, fish, pasta salads and meats.

You always meet the nicest people with the best food close to the beach. Also connected with an acquaintance whom I’m sure will now be my friend. This is the kind of magic going on here. My recommendation is to order what you want plus get the special to go, you won’t regret it. The portions and quality are way beyond its quaint appearance. Make sure to check out the beach with access right across the street. Did I even mention the desserts?
