The owner is terrible. Yelled aggressively at his wife in front of all us customers. It’s a shame. The pizza was good but I can’t support someone so horrendous.

One New Yorker to another. The other night, stopped in Brunos, the aroma hits you when you walk in, being back in the neighborhood, authentic italian smell and ambiance, picked up my pepperoni mushroom pie, the flavor, and especially the crust was delicious. I will definitely be back, plus they have a great menu, and very good daily specials, Ralph and Jody have themselves a winner and will stand the test of time. Molte grazie.. Abbondanza!! Most other places were closed on Monday so we tried Bruno's. We ordered a calzone and a pizza w/ pepperoni and bacon. We ordered take away and did not dine in.Pizza wasn't very flavorful, reminded us of cafeteria pizza (no offense here, just a close comparison of flavor). Needless to say, our kids enjoyed it. Ad with most NY style pies, the crust is bland and gets tossed away, saves carbs if anything.Calzone was only edible on the ends, the center was straight up ricotta cheese. Maybe some enjoy spoon fulls of ricotta, but for us, the abundance of it completely ruined it.

Real Italian food just it should be!!! Delicious Pizza just as in Naples, the lasagna omg and the spaghetti with meatballs mamma mia they are good and genuine Italian food (gave to say that again )Great staff ! Grazie!!

The new owners of Bruno's Pizza are doing a fabulous job. The garlic knots were awesome. The Greek salad was huge with stuffed grape leaves. Pizza was delicious!

Bruno's has been my go-to place for stromboli for several years. Went in at least once a month because of the great stromboli with great, friendly staff. They never messed up my order (stromboli with black olives and no onions, Greek salad no onions). Most of the time, the counter lady knew my order immediately when I called or walked in. Today I called to order 2 strombolis and salads for pick-up and was told my stromboli would only be mozzarella and black olives - so why was I asking for 'no onions'? If I wanted anything beside mozzarella, it would have to be a 'build your own'...good luck with that as I could see neither the prices nor the options. Not sure what has happened to a 5 star take-out place but I will be on the lookout for a friendlier, more accommodating place to get my stromboli. Since there's a pizzeria on virtually every corner beachside, it shouldn't be too difficult to find a replacement.
