Firehouse Subs Ormond Beach

We're local, repeat customers, and love Firehouse. We doordashed an order. After 30 minutes, we received a message from our dasher stating that he's been waiting over 15 minutes for the order. I called the store to confirm that the store received the order. The gentleman who answered the phone told me that doordash was assigning a driver. I explained that the dasher was waiting for the order at the store. The employee then told me that that said, "you need to wait your turn." I was simply calling to confirm that they received my order because as the dasher had been waiting for a while and the order email confirming the order was received 30 minutes prior to the call. What I didn't expect was the condensending tone and dishonesty from the employee. When I asked to speak to the manager to confirm that the order was received and processed, She halfway listened to what I said and hung up on me. Unfortunately, the recent employee changes at this location have brought the service down. As much as we love Firehouse Subs, we will take our business elsewhere since customer service isn't valued here.

Last two times, the sub has not been toasted. Staff says their toaster is broken. I visited 3 weeks apart. You would think by now the toaster would have been fixed.

I went in to get a gift card, I realize the person at the register was probably new, but they need her to learn customer service. She did not say one word to me. Nothing. When I paid, never said anything. Just gave me the receipt.

Yesterday 1 of the 2 females working was totally rude to someone picking up their food. She completely acted like a "know it all" when I could clearly see she was wrong but didn't want to listen to the person she was trying to correct... No one wants to eat and listen to a bossy "C U Next Tuesday" type of person

Ordered Italian no onion with a pickle . Checked it before leaving and no pickle. Asked for one and he hands me a pickle dripping everywhere. Got home and sandwich is loaded with onion and bread tastes stale and not toasted. Awful sandwich.

I came in to this location tonight. Service was excellent! Kim , Sara , and Chris were working and were so positive and kind. They made the entire experience really special. They all greeted me as I came in and were very prompt making the food. They each had a great attitude while they were working. Thank you for the extra pickle!

The food is good but I don’t appreciate that the employee ignored what I wanted. I wanted an Italian sandwich without cheese yet he still put cheese on it. So i basically wasted all the seasoning that was put on the sub. Not happy.
