Greektown Taverna is a wonderful restaurant! The food is absolutely delicious, and very representative of the amazing flavors & preparations of Greek cuisine. The portions are plentiful and the prices are fair for the quality & quantity of food received. The menu is robust! There are SO many tasty options to choose from! We had Spanakopita, Avgolemono, Lamb burger, Tabbouleh, and Araka– all delicious! And the homemade cheesecake with the baklava crust is ingenious! We had this month’s Caramel Apple flavor, and it was SO good. The service was also awesome! Super friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating servers/FOH staff. The atmosphere is great. Simplistic, colorful & thoughtful decor, and traditional Greek music played at a comfortable listening level gets the mood just right! This was our first time dining here, and we were so pleased that we made the right decision. We will be back for sure! I would absolutely recommend this restaurant for anyone seeking out authentic, traditional Greek cuisine OR anyone interested in trying something new!

I was here to pick up a food delivery and I was watching something on my phone. The owner all of a sudden said can you keep that down In trying to run a restaurant! The restaurant was already noisy and he was being rude! Too bad because my Mom and I were thinking about having lunch here! 1 star for the owner being rude and not very friendly! When owners, managers, and supervisors are not friendly towards the customers you get a 1 star from me! I wouldn't recommend this place for anyone to come and eat if your service sucked!
