The food tasted horrible. The bacon was burnt. My daughter asked for over medium eggs and they made her hard boiled eggs and put them on a plate and they were very oily. I never see any business in there. I don’t know how they stay open. Wouldn’t recommend. And the home fries tasted like they came out of a can. The French toast had way too much cinnamon to where it dried out my tongue
Great food and service. Had the hammy with a side of grits. Hubby had the omelet and a side of potatoes. Both really happy with our meals. Waitress was super attentive and the cook also came out to check on us. Everything was really clean.Only downside is they didn't want you to put toilet paper down the toilet. That was kind of gross. Sure it was because of plumbing issues but was not a fan.Otherwise a really great experience and will go back.

Our waitress was absolutely amazing, Sophie if I remember correctly. The food was so good. Tasted like they had my mom in the kitchen. The theme of the bee's everywhere was so cute. Just a little hole in the wall by a gas station and hotels that ended up making me and my husband go back twice in 3 days. Worth it. If you get a chance, try it. Wish I lived closer, I would be a regular. ?

This is the cutest little place! Service was great. Sweet tea was wonderful. I had the ham & Swiss omelette, it was really good. The home fries could’ve been softer (that’s why 4/5 stars) but they still tasted great! We will definitely be back.

Five Stars! Great Atmosphere, Great Food, Excellent Customer Service. Very clean, and surprisingly fast, great follow up on customer service throughout the dining experience.I got off the highway because I had seen a Commercial Breakfast Place and had to go down the road to turn around and stumbled upon this Cafe by chance, so glad I did.Bring your family here, support local businesses, and give yourself the pleasure of this dining experience.
Kid-friendliness: Staff would be excellent with children and good food options!
Parking: Plenty
Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible
This cafe had really great service and food plus the pancakes were really cute highly recommend them to anyone in the area looking for a great breakfast
Friendly service, great prices! These pancakes were the fluffiest I’ve ever had. I can tell the pancakes were made from scratch instead of a box. We had a sweet attentive waitress. We would definitely come back! Not sure why someone complained about the place lacking “honey” themed items if it’s called honey bee cafe. ?it’s more of a decoration because in a world of Waffle Houses, why bee Anything else? ?The plates, the pancakes, it’s all honey bee enough for me ?
Our waitress was the sweetest! She was very kind and attentive. They have a great selection of teas. If I could give 5 stars for that alone, I would. HOWEVER THERE WAS THE PROBLEM OF THE FOOD. Two of us ordered scrambled eggs. They were stirred as they were cooked, not beaten in a bowl and then cooked. Moreover, they were shiny and greasy. I ordered home fries. They looked amazing so i was shocked when I tasted them. There was not a single hint of any type of seasoning on them. All you could taste was oil and potato that seemed like they had been stored in water in order to keep them from browning. I ordered hash browns which came straight from a can and some parts were crispy and some parts looked like dog food. Another person in our party ordered grilled turkey and cheese. The outside of the bread looked nicely toasted but it seems as if they put the cheese and the turkey on after toasting the bread because the cheese just look like two slices still unmelted. The tomato soup was steaming yet somehow still cold which probably means they warmed it up in the microwave. Overall, it was a bafflingly unimpressive meal, most of which remained uneaten. Honestly everyone was so sweet that I would never have complained while I was there. Our waitress bent over backwards to make sure everything was what we ordered. It seems like a family owned restaurant so we would have paid for our food just to support them no matter the taste. And perhaps had we ordered different food, it would have been amazing. For those of us used to a great southern breakfast, i just wanted this to be a caveat.
I walked in and the lady gave me a nice warm smile and was very attentive and sat me down. Coffee was really fresh food was very delicious The biscuits and gravy beautiful soft biscuits and a gravy was done perfectly with good sausage bits in them.I also got a side of potato salad this potato salad is just perfect and it just has the right amount of savory and sweetness to it in my opinion must try great place to go I will be back again!

My husband and I stopped in for a quick bite to eat as I had an appointment to get to. We were created and seated, asked if we wanted something to drink by a very pleasant waitress.I ordered tea, homemade tomato soup and a fabulous made-to-order grilled cheese. The Chef came out to check on us and was an absolute delight. We will definitely be heading back to the Honey Bee Cafe the next time we are in Ormond Beach.

So happy to have a REAL local, family business right down the road from where I work. I drive by it every day and finally had lunch there! Love that they serve breakfast all day! Had the greek omelet w/ home fries and an English muffin - YUMMY! Looking forward to trying more items for lunch during the week!
Very enjoyable experience. The service was great; our server was friendly and attentive. Even the owner came to check on us to make sure we were happy and satisfied. The decor was cute. And we very much enjoyed the food! My partner had the Bee Woman breakfast with a side order of home fries. He is a big fan of breakfast and he loved it! I had the chicken souvlaki with fries and it was VERY good. The tzatziki sauce was delicious. I also tried the Creamy Yucca soup with Brazilian sausage and I struggled to put the spoon down - it was so good. The coffee was perfect diner coffee.Right when we were finishing up, our server brought us a cute little cake donut. We will definitely visit next time we're in town!
Kid-friendliness: They had a kids menu with both breakfast and lunch options.
Parking: Plenty of space available with two entrances, one close to the gas stationThere are speed bumps going into the parking lot form the gas station side

I absolutely love this place. The food is always cooked to perfection and served hot. The service is great and it’s very clean. Love to support our community businesses instead of chain restaurants. Come down and see for yourself. And for those that feel differently, then you should realize that things happen and people are entitled to an off day. But, as for myself, I will continue my patronage to this establishment.
This place is FANTASTIC! A hidden gem right here in Ormond. It was our first time here, but we will definitely be back. The staff was so accommodating, perfectly attentive. They were there right when you needed them, but not too often. The food was fresh and delicious, and it came out within minutes. Definitely get the Brazilian Creamy Yucca soup-our daughter couldn’t get enough of it.I had the Gyro, and it was super authentic and tasty. The meat was perfectly seasoned and the lettuce and tomatoes were fresh and crisp. My five year old had the cutest little “beehive” pancakes. The prices were super affordable for authentic, home-cooked food.Don’t take advice from the reviewer who was mad they didn’t have more foods with honey in them since there is “honey” in the name. The poor guy must be super disappointed when he visits Dick’s Sporting Goods.
True family owned restaurant. We need these types of places to come back to life. Everything is corporate or a franchise owned. Two great girls during a fantastic job. So personable and respectful. The food was made as if it was cooked in my kitchen by my mother. We truly need to support our local businesses before they don't exist any more. Help build them up, don't knock them down. Places like this need help staying alive.
