Hull's Seafood Market

One might expect surf and turf with filet and lobster would be a great dinner at the highest menu price. It was the worst filet and lobster we’ve ever had. My husband ordered a medium steak it was paper thin and well done, not to mention flavorless it seemed possibly garlic butter was poured on for flavor effort. Both lobsters were overcooked and rubbery, the butter lacked flavor and had a hint of soap water to the taste. When mentioning the over cooked chunks of meat left on his plate to the waitress who showed up at the end of our meal, forgot salads until after dinner was served and gave my husband the wrong dressing. She offered no apologies that his entire meal was overall no good. No mention of addressing a manager or even omitting the salad which was not eaten since the right dressing was brought after we were ready to go. Meal was average, my husband’s was ruined. $50+ each and we can only say the $4 Mac and cheese was great. Highly do not recommend the surf and turf if you go there. Others being served seemed to possibly have much better meals. After driving an hour to give them a try, I doubt we will ever return. Surf and turf of any steak should likely be avoided here. Lobster too, was worse lobster we’ve ever had. Had the waitress cared to do something about it or show up to check on our dinner after being served so we could address things sooner, I probably would have a nicer review but she did not care even proceeded to offer us dessert. No thanks lady. I don’t like to complain but spending over $100 on what should be a nice dinner, this was a very disappointing experience.

Hulls is still my favorite Seafood place in Volusia County. Great food, decent prices, great servers and food location. I have been going here for over 30 years.

Hull’s never disappoints. The food is amazing! The service is awesome and they make you feel comfortable and not rushed. We had family come down from Pennsylvania and they wanted the best seafood dinner and we took them here. They left Hull’s with full bellies and a big smile on their faces. Highly recommend!

I've never been let down in the 15 years I've been visiting the coast and eating at Hull's. Waiter was on point with his "working on the boat" experience, suggesting what was fresh and in season. Local beer was a nice addition.
