I'm in Daytona Beach for business and as always try to find local hidden gems instead of national chains. My search on Yelp brought up this restaurant and it piqued my interest. I have a Turkish friend who has taken me to have authentic Turkish food. So I was a bit apprehensive that it might be "American Turkish". I am absolutely so glad I rolled the dice. It's a small place with modern middle eastern music playing, not too much in the way of ambiance but I'm here for the food not the furniture. There was only one other table occupied when I walked in on the Wednesday night I dined there, but there was a steady stream of take out going out the door. The server was super friendly and when I said I was hungry, he recommended the mixed grill. Perfect choice! I finished it, but it was A LOT of food! Everything was delicious. The meats were all tender, juicy and flavourful. The server asked if I had a favourite. But I really couldn't choose. If you find yourself in Daytona Beach and are craving authentic middle eastern food. I can't recommend this place highly enough!

Don't get fooled by the front facade or the inside. It doesn't look like much, but it's the BEST mediterranean I ever ate. It was very empty when we get there, but doordashers came nonstop to pick up food. We got the appetizer plater, and all of the things on that plater was wiped clean. We even got extra pita, and I ate the babaganoush (you can taste the smoke) and shaksuka eventhough I don't like eggplant. Falafel was tiny but so so good. I just wish there's more of them. One thing I can tell the people know what they're doing is how they grill their chicken. Their chicken skewers came out juicy and not dry at all. The adana kebab was superb (had to fight my husband to get him off my plate), but the lamb, doner, meatballs.. all came out so flavorful and juicy. Will definitely come back when we're in the area.

If you'd like to experience amazing Turkish food, this is the place!!! Don't let the simple design of the restaurant fool you. The place is as authentic as they come. Great taste, flavourful spices, and delightful desserts!!! We have been to Turkey, and this food can make you feel as if you are on Turkish soil. If you are new to Turkish food, do not hesitate. The sooner you try it, the sooner you'll LOVE IT!!!
We had a sampling of appetizers and a sampling of entrees for 2. Everything was amazing. Service also couldn’t have been better. Will return many times.
Been wanting to try this restaurant for some time and was finally able to last night. Everything was delicious! The chicken kabob was seasoned to perfection and was moist and tender. The lentil soup was loaded with flavor. It was a purée soup and I was expecting whole lentils but it was still great. Can’t wait go back again to try other dishes!

WOW!! What an amazing little gem of a place. Highly recommend. The waiter was amazing such a great young man. So welcoming and helps in ordering the best food. We tried the appetizer platter, the dinner platter and of course ending with the baklava platter. Everything was absolutely amazing!! So flavorful and freshly made. I can't wait to go back.

The food was very delicious. The lamb Adana I especially recommend. Also the baklava is definitely worth while. The Turkish tea is also a must have, one of the best teas I've had ever. The service was very good. The server was very friendly and even gave us complementary tea. The ambiance is very old style and it is kind of a blast to the past. Very 1990's esc. In conclusion I highly recommend this amazing restaurant.

Three of us had dinner. We had the bread platter with dips, mixed grill and chicken kebob. Had tea and a special drink. Baclava for dessert. We really enjoyed the quality of the food and conversing with the staff. Just the right food quantity. If you're interested in a different ethnic food, check it out. I rate fairly, so this is a great rating.

A true gem in Ormond Beach if you like Turkish food. It is fairly small and space is limited, but the food and service are special. Our server was delightful and gave recommendations. We started with the Meze Platter, which is pita served with Tzatziki, Acuka, Carrot Tarama, Shakshuka, Hummus, and Babaganoush. It was fun to try the different dips, and we had our favorites. Can't remember which, but would have it again. We also had the Istanbul Mix Grill Plate, which easily fed 2 adults. It has chicken, lamb, and Adana kebab skewers with beef gyro, chicken and beef meatballs. It was very delicious. Lots of meat for sure!The star of the meal was the chocolate baklava! It was really delicious! Melt in your mouth, tiny thin phyllo layers. I would go back for those alone! Will certainly visit again to try some of the small plates/appetizers, as well as the chicken kebabs, beef gyro, and falafel. Highly recommend!
