We LOVE LOVE LOVE Jimmy Hula’s! It’s a family fav!!! The GM, Ralph, was absolutely awesome and just elevated our most recent experience to the next level! We will continue to be loyal customers! The food is amazing! If I may recommend, the crispy chicken teriyaki bowl with extra lava sauce is the absolute best!!!

So after getting two wrong orders at the same evening after an hour for two Zion jerk ,this is my experience :1. Order taking - hit or miss ,maybe you will get what you ordered ,maybe not ...2. Food prep time - draggy to super slow3. Food prep is inconsistent - sometimes you will get all the dish components , sometimes not.....4. Cleanless - poor to dirty5. Taste - pretty good if they get it right...6. Management - needs improvement .

Inexperienced staff...no problem...at least they were employing people. Chef was working hard cooking and bussing and sweeping. They need more help definitely! Ordered the hula burger with pineapple and side of sweet potato fries with Baja sauce. Website appears to have good prices but it's deceiving because the fries are 5.00 extra which makes it just as pricey as everyone else. Also the amount of dipping sauce they give you is enough for roughly 6 fries and the actual burger patty was so thin it was no bigger than a single fried egg. Couldn't taste patty. Baja sauce for fries was the only redeeming quality of food that we were robbed on pricewise.

Take out order was way too expensive and very skimpy on items.

I love this place, I love the food, the tacos are amazing, I love the beachy surf atmosphere...but...I have had several bad experiences.1st was a catering order at the Port Orange location they completely forgot the order and I was made to look like a fool at my office. The manager personally called me to apologize stating the next order of the same price would be free, that manager is no longer there.2nd I ordered a pick up from a third party Jimmy Hula's never confirmed or rejected the order the 3rd party took the money out when I went to the location they said they never confirmed my order. Mind you they never rejected the order either therefore took over a week to get my money back as the order was still sitting there in limbo.3rd another Catering order at the office the order was placed at 830 am for the next day. As of 200pm the order was not confirmed so I called the store, they stated they could not fulfill the order due to another order the next day, which is fine, but REJECT THE ORDER! If I hadn't called I would have been waiting yet again for another order that isn't coming. My office loves this place, loves the food but it makes me anxious to order from here they just aren't very reliable and if I'm honest don't really seem to care if they botch your order.

The place has nothing to do with authentic tacos. It’s an Americanized version of “tacos”. The only way this could be less of a taco is if they put pasta in them, something they’ve probably contemplated. Why are the fries sour? Your guess is as good as mine.
