Kava Kula is not just a really amazing kava bar but it’s a place that I consider my second home. I started going there when I quit drinking to find an alternative atmosphere and over the last 6 months I have developed the most incredible friendships. The owners, Jackie and John, are two of the kindest and most genuine people I’ve met. The Kavatenders, Brad and Sarah, are so welcoming and knowledgable. Any time I’m feeling sad, I know that I can go up to Kava Kula and I’ll see at least one person that can always brighten my day. I’m truly thankful for this business and the people that make it so wonderful.

Taco Tuesday is always a great time at Kava Kula. I mean what other place can you get your tea and kava and be appreciated so much as a customer you get free tacos. The Kava tenders are great at their jobs, knowledgeable, and have engaging personalities that make you want to hang out and spend time here.The Kratom Mojito and newest menu item, the Kava Extract Shortcake Shot were fantastic, in addition to the Kratom Bomb (Blue Raspberry flavor if you want a recommendation on the best flavor bomb)After being out on this coast of FL Kava Kula has become my go to spot, the atmosphere,people, ownership, and community is exactly what you want in a Kava bar. And after searching around, im definitely content with my kava bar away from home to have a great place to hangout and work, play, or just get some support from others when you need it.If you're looking for a spot to have a social time, but are not wanting to drink. This is definitely the most welcoming of spaces, with vastly diverse groups of people, it's easy to make new acquaintances and share some laughs with. even if You're a bit shy, you can absolutely rely on the regulars and Kava tenders to help you get to know new people and enjoy your time here.Also VERY dog friendly. Great place to bring your best friend to make new friends and play with.Today's Tea - Kava Shortcake ? We were enticed by the 2 for 1 kava mimosas but ended up staying for an hour speaking with the owner who gave us a whole lesson on kava and K tea. We tried a kava shell, k teas, and kombucha. The strawberry kombucha is absolutely delicious. My friend and I loved learning so much and appreciated the friendliness, hospitality and passion she had for her craft. Such a hidden gem with a relaxing indoor and outdoor atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back again!
I went in cause I’m not sure what Kava is about and the lady that worked there was very disrespectful she didn’t even really tell us what kava even was. Once we said we were just there to ask questions she was pissed that we weren’t ordering anything. I’ll never go there again. Why would I drink something that I don’t know about and the staff is rude.

Love this place and the chill atmosphere. After Jackie explained the benefits of Kava I was super excited to try it. I have always had a really hard time falling asleep and staying asleep. I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING!! Now I drink my bedtime Kava and experience a great night's rest.
