L'angolo is a little authentic Italian restaurant in Ormond Beach - a short and easy drive, only 18 minutes south of Palm Coast.
Once again - outstanding food, stellar service, upscale atmosphere.
I had a specially prepared veal dish, pounded and smothered in brown butter sauce and baby bella mushrooms with homemade Pappardelle, Carla had Bolognese with Pappardelle, and Marsha and Pete had the Veal Osso Buco - all outstanding!
And we shared a bottle of Zane Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore - exquisite!

Apps were good. Carpaccio. Scallops w pesto Alfredo. Meat balls. Entrees veal osco busco. Was not much meat 4-5oz $40 But the “tomahawk “. PICTs below was more of a short rib w long bone. Not a ribeye w long bone by any means. Very low quality very tuff. $70!! Almost $300 for two of us. No alcohol. 3 apps. 2 Ceaser 2 entrees. Won’t be back. Plus they rang my cc for $400 twice then rang my bill. Calling them later tonite when there not busy. Fun fun

Made a reservation for Saturday night for 6:30 for two. Super easy to do. This is our second dinner here. The food was outstanding. The stuffed veal was wonderful. Excellent wine and the beef carpaccio and the escargot were both delicious. The service was attentive but not overwhelming. The decor is perfect southern Italian.
Outstanding Authentic Italian American food. From the greeting upon entry and appetizers to deserts. Everything was excellent. I am not joking or embellishing. Family owned and operated. And they clearly know what they are doing. Owner chef is from Naples Italy and his wife is Sicilian. Very reasonable prices too. Don’t miss out on this gem!

We dined here for the first time last night, it was not disappointing at all. Outstanding service , food , wine, and atmosphere. We are putting this restaurant on our favorites list to frequent . The staff is very friendly as well. Reservations definitely required as this establishment is small, but so worth it . Oh and the dessert is fabulous!! Jordan did an excellent job serving us last night. He made sure our glasses we always topped off, that we had bread and oil for dipping , and if we needed anything else , he was accommodating. We will definitely recommend L'Angolo .

We decided to try this restaurant, and were blown away by the quality of food and service. At the end of our evening the Chef/Owner Sal came out to thank us for coming out. Since my wife and I have traveled extensively, it was amazing to talk to such a great owner. The food showed attention to detail, and was of higher quality than 95% of the restaurants we've been to in this area... They're worth the trip
