We ordered a steak and an alcoholic drink in a coconut for 20$, in fact they brought something like Chinese toy of coconut with just a paper cup full of ice inside, alcohol is not even felt, only coconut syrup. Reminder, for $20 dollars!!! But the food is good, the staff is okay. And place is quiet and boring, not a bar

I loved the shrimp & avocado rolls but I didn't like the ribs & bbq chicken combo. The sauce was not flavorful at all.

The food is always good. If it's your first time, you must get the coconut.

Excellent food. Had food vouchers from Spinnaker to pay with that stated the food items and taxes are covered but Not the gratuity .....our server said the taxes weren't covered by the voucher. I guess that's Riptides policy.

The waitress was phenomenal! I ordered
2 1/2 lbs of crab legs. I haven't had them in so long so the anticipation was unbearable. When they came, I started on them right away. I went with someone else who was paying, so I started eating them vigorously. They were so salty I woke up the next morning with my eyes and cheeks swollen from so much salt. I ate all of them graciously and did not say anything. Turned out to be $75 dollars for all that salt. All you can eat was $95. Way too much for my budget! The potatoes wedges and corn were very good.

Started the meal with the ahi tuna crisps and peel and eat shrimp, which were both fresh. The seafood mac n cheese and the mayport garlic shrimp were delicious. Tom, our waiter/bartender was great. He was friendly and gave us recommendations.

Threw a party for 35 last night at Riptides and I can not say enough good things about the experience! First, the service was fabulous. Taylor and Paul were incredibly attentive. The food was great. I ordered nachos, potato rounds, hush puppies and fried green tomatoes as starters for the guests. They were all cooked perfectly, crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle. The potato rounds were somewhat like little potato pizzas, with bacon and cheese on them. The nachos were loaded. I only heard rave reviews from all of my guests.

Riptides in Daytona Beach is a fantastic spot for a meal! The food is consistently excellent, with flavors that impress and portions that offer good value for the price. The menu has plenty of options to satisfy different tastes, and each dish feels thoughtfully prepared. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, with friendly and attentive staff who make you feel right at home. It’s a place where you can kick back, enjoy good food, and take in the Daytona vibe.
However, the cleanliness leaves something to be desired. While the main dining areas are generally fine, a closer look reveals some areas that could use attention—particularly around the vents, where there’s noticeable dust and grime buildup. It’s a bit off-putting and detracts from an otherwise great experience. A little more focus on these details would elevate Riptides to an even higher standard.

Had dinner here while on vacation with family. No wait because it was a Thursday evening in October (and Halloween). The calamari was okay but the real shining star was the Mayport Garlic Shrimp pasta. That was delicious! Service was great.
