Rose Ville is one of the greatest restaurants in this area. The restaurant is inside an old Victorian house, and the vibe is fun. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable about the menu/drink list and very attentive. The food here is amazing! We started with deviled eggs and pork belly biscuits, then 2 of us got the fried chicken and the third person got the filet. It was all soo good!!! We will definitely be back.
Love this place the fried chicken never disappoints. We tried the maple me crazy old fashion and the crisp banana bread manhattan. Both drinks were extra tasty but didn't taste too boozie. We had the fried chicken and the jambalaya two of the best dishes there in my opinion. The jambalaya is spicy but not too spicy. Definetly recommend for date night or group of friends to go drink eat and enjoy
From the time we sat down, the experience was a very pleasant one as is the norm at Rose Villa. The service was excellent. Our food was cooked perfectly and very delicious. From the chicken and waffles, avocado toast, soup of the day, fruit chutney to the wonderful lemon/raspberry dessert, all were enjoyed. We,as well as our guests who lived in NYC and had never been to Rose Villa before, were extremely impressed. We will definitely be returning to what has become one of our favorite restaurants of choice.
Can't beat the shrimp and grits! Salmon on salad, coffee, and biscuits were also good. Enjoyed our meal in the gazebo by the fountain. Service was excellent.
Always a great experience!!! Food was amazing, Mille our server was incredible, outdoor dining in the gazebo with live music was the best! Always love coming to this local gem
As always, the fried chicken was the best we've ever had. The mac n cheese and collards were great. The biscuits are always great. The service and our server were outstanding. Amazing lunchtime experience.
We made a reservation as 3 of the 4 of us were celebrating birthdays. We were seated immediately and water and hot biscuits soon followed. Sarah was our server and she went over the specials of the evening. My wife chose the lamb special and another person chose the monk fish. I had the fried chicken and the other person had the shrimp and grits. All were excellent meals and enjoyed by all. Sarah mentioned that dessert for the birthday guests would be on the house. Two of us chose the chocolate lava cake with ice cream and the other guest chose the chocolate cake. All were delicious! Another great meal at Rose Villa!
I took my girlfriend there to propose last night. And the manager set up a special table on the upstairs balcony. So we had privacy, the staff and chef and manager were all amazing. They made the night absolutely magical. And she said yes!
Nice staff and atmosphere. Service was wonderful and food was delicious. Awesome menu and ambience.
Great food and superior service! The fried chicken is the best in town! The service is always great!

Had a great visit to Rose Villa. Not our first, and certainly not our last. I had the pork chop - for the second time. It was excellent, again. Great, consistently excellent food has been our experience at Rose Villa. Looking forward to the next time! Cassandra did a great job providing excellent and timely service - thank you!
This review is for our last particular visit only. We've been to Rose Villa 4 times now for birthdays, anniversaries, returning as a result of their ambiance, good food, drinks, and quick service. This last visit saw them meet only one of those (food), with the others really lacking. Upon arrival at our reservation at 6:30pm, we were told our upper room reservation choice was not available as they inadvertently? seated another party. So we had to head out to the front porch. The table we were seated at was bare, had no table cloth, nor utensils. My staple drink (the Candied Bacon Old fashion) which I was really looking forward to was probably the worst Old fashion I've ever had. Clearly slammed together as fast as possible, bacon not even in the drink rather just sitting on top of the mountain of ice, and served on the bare table where it along with our glasses of water sweated to the point of puddling and us having to ask for cocktail napkins to fix. All the other tables had a table cloth. The Soup and entrees were mostly on point and enjoyable. My second drink (Rose Tea) ordered when the entrees arrived didn't come until 25 minutes later, our dinner mostly completed. Overall, just a disappointing night My wife and I really felt like we were an afterthought only seeing the waitress ever 15-20 mins. With a lot of other upper scale dining options in walking distance, we'll give Rose Villa a break for a while.
Rose Villa never disappoints! We visit Ormond every year and always make it a point to eat at Rose Villa while we're in town. Wonderful cocktails and atmosphere and the food is always amazing!
It was excellent as always! We took a tour upstairs and learned more about the history of the hotel. Highly recommend!
Best fried chicken I've ever had. We brought some friends with us who had never been to Rose Villa. We recommended the fried chicken dinner, and everyone ordered it. No one left the table hungry. Also ordered the deviled eggs as a starter. They were also great. Love this restaurant and the staff are great.
