Unfortunately it was closed, even though Google Maps, their website and their answering machine all indicated it was open.

Such an amazing little spot!! It must be new because it needs way more five star reviews. Family run and the food is sooo fresh. Every bit of our meal was perfection and the service was stellar.

We stayed in Ponce Inlet for a week and I thought about driving up but never did. On our way to Jacksonville airport, we made time to stop and have lunch based on the reviews. Agree with a lot of reviews, don't let the outside appearance fool you. Cool vibe inside and fresh fish displayed at counter. All 4 had lunch and all 4 were very pleased. Wife said best coleslaw ever. We all had fresh fish and it was cooked perfectly. I had a great salad and the girls finished with dessert which was very good. I will make the drive for dinner next time in Ponce. Don't hesitate at all to pick this place for lunch or dinner!

Had dinner tonight with another couple and our experience was amazing. Melissa did a wonderful job of serving us and V (the owner) was in the kitchen creating amazing dishes. Everything that we had was spectacular. From the fish dip and peel and eat shrimp appetizers to the crabcakes, lobster roll, and trigger fish prepared two different ways. Everything was amazingly fresh, perfectly seasoned, and absolutely delicious! Would recommend this restaurant to anyone and we will certainly go again soon.

Salty Farms restaurant and seafood is my favorite place to eat when I’m in the Ormond Beach. The food is always fresh and delicious. Highly recommend coming here if you’re in the area!

We wanted to support local restaurants. Ordered two lobster rolls for pick up .. $60 ..the lobster roll was a hot dog bun or smaller .The roll was four bites and came with coleslaw..please let me repeat …it was a very tasty four bites …two appetizers they called them meals… $60.000 for 8 bites. They kept saying lobster was market price ..I was embarrassed for the employee and we tipped even though we had to go eat somewhere else for dinner. This picture shows sandwich in a very tiny ladies hand

The name nails it - SALTY. The fish dip was saltier than the saltine crackers that accompanied the clam chowder. The clam chowder was overly peppered, but otherwise was okay. Definitely nothing to write home about. The Caesar dressing also ended up tasting like someone got excited with the pepper grinder. Nearly every "fresh" fish was sold out. Only those flown in (salmon, mahi, scallops, shrimp) were available, which makes for an awkward ordering experience. My party ordered tuna, scallops, and shrimp among us. When the food arrived, the Tuna was over-seasoned, the shrimp under-cooked, and the scallops actually were okay. The broccoli was slathered in a lemon mayo that claimed to have capers, but they could not be tasted. French fries couldn't even be served plain - some sort of old bay or seasoned salt was added. Short answer - I wouldn't go back if the food was free.

We had a really good meal at this small restaurant that doesn't look like much from the outside. It is in a strip mall -- I normally shy away from strip mall restaurants. I'm glad we didn't. It is a very welcoming place -- feels comfortable from the moment you walk in. We were greeted warmly. I had the grilled shrimp with a crab cake on the side. It was really good. The shrimp and crab cake were cooked perfectly. Often shrimp is overcooked and almost rubbery. These were cooked perfect -- nice and tender. If you are in the area, give it a shot. You won't be disappointed.

Our last 3 experiences at Salty Farms have been So Disappointing. This place used to be our number 1 choice based on great food, good service, and casual ambience. But it has gone Down Hill and fast. Lately our food was over cooked, over salted, and the sided were Not what we ordered. When we complained, the server basically shrugged her shoulders. And that is when we could find her. The Service was basically Non-existent without waving her down or getting up to track her down! And the server was so non-chalant, did not seem to care about delivering a good experience or really any thing else. We are so sad to this once awesome fresh sea food place turn into one more over priced restaurant with over cooked food and poor service. Let us know When You are Back to delivering your high standards! And we will be happy to come back, too.

Fantastic seafood. Service is super slow but worth the wait. Only open a few days a week so it's definitely a treat.

Five was a tuff one for this resturant. But the food was so good I couldn't help myself. The problem is the service, they need help. We quickly found out if you do not go and tell them your there they won't figure it out. When the waitress finally came to take our order we had to tell her we never received menus. We had to ask her to clear the past customers empty bottles from the table and wipe the table. Note: All the tables were dirty except one large one. There were only two of us. She never wiped the table so my wife went to the restroom to get towels to do it ourselves. We watched as the waitress and who we believed was her husband, deliver wrong orders at several tables. It was really quiet entertaining. Every time she said she would bring something to us she would get distracted and completely forget. As I sad though the food was excellent. So we just figured it was getting dinner and a show.

Me and my friends were looking for seafood and stumbled upon the Great ! Salty Farms seafood market! The food was well prepared and fresh. The owners V, Chase and Pam were very personable and lovely. Would 10 out of 10 recommend !

Salty Farms Seafood Market is by far one of the best places that there is more than meets the eye upon first arrival! Located in a strip mall just across the road from the beaches, this place doesn't look like too much from the outside. Upon entering the establishment, you will find a pleasant and colorfully decorated interior that gives off the vibe of local hole in the wall cafe, which is a good sign in my opinion. You can see the fresh market fish options at the counter, and make a selection from there, or if you want to order something else off the menu, that is just swell also. The food was made to order with some of the freshest ingredients available. They were able to accommodate any allergy issues, and they were great about answering questions too. As much as we were in Florida, they made us feel like we were back home in the Midwest in our local cafe. The food is bar-none outstanding and some of the best food I have had in a long time! The shrimp scampi appetizer was super fresh and cooked to tender perfection. My scallops and fingerling potatoes were by far a highlight of the evening as well. So tender and well seasoned, I was in heaven. Yes, the prices are a bit higher than perhaps other places along the beaches, but it is worth it, and you can taste the freshness! The chef is not overcomplicating the food and is letting the flavors come out of the ingredients. By far, I would recommend going to this restaurant for some amazing food. I know I will be back again in the future!
