They had just opened when I arrived so I was the first customer. The owner was an older gentleman who was very kind and attentive. The food was delicious. There is nothing fancy about this place but it was clean. I loved the french fries! Prices are very reasonable. I will return!

Great burger, thought the fries could be better, but that might be due to a take out order. Fries were quite soggy and pretty thin, feel like they were undercooked but even the air fryer at home couldn't really save them. Great burger though. Fry's are probably better when you eat in. I'll probably go back

Just try it…..Amazing smash burgers, great fries & sweet potato fries! We’re picky and the burgers are crispy & juicy and the buns hold up to the burger! Great price, great quality and friendly atmosphere. Even a Tuesday deal! We will be back for more!

Fabulous Place! The service was excellent. The menu is not extensive, but that is smart for a small place. They have good specials like family night, etc., must try! I think my favorite was their fried zucchini, but the burger was really, really good also.

I've been driving past 'Steer In Burgers' for quite a while now, and finally decided I would give it a try. It was about 3:00 on a Tuesday afternoon, and I was the only customer. I mentioned to the server (Katy) that this was my first time, and she told me a little bit about the place (fresh beef, hand-formed 1/4 lb patties, owner 'Dave' is also the cook). I ordered the double cheeseburger ('smashburger') with a side of onion rings and a drink.
While I waited I chatted with Katy and another employee, Andie. My food was served less than 10 minutes later, and it was fresh and hot off the grill. I had to wait about 3 minutes for the huge pile of onion rings to cool down, so I went to work on the burger - it was also huge!
It sure seemed like more than the 1/2 lb of meat I was expecting, and I was quite full and satisfied when I was finished. The meat also had a lot more flavor than what I'm used to getting at McD's or BK. The owner/cook Dave came out to see if my order was OK, and I told him that I enjoyed it very much and that I will be back!

The best burger I’ve had in this town by far! This place is super clean and the food is hot and made fresh! The burger had a good crispy outside, juicy inside and seasoned perfectly. Dave our cook and the owner came out for a chat and you don’t get good genuine people like that on the regular anymore. Great place and amazing food! Also we went on a Tuesday and they have $6 Burger night every Tuesday! Hand cut fries and onion rings were a major hit as well. We will be frequenting this place.
This is by far one of the best burger and fries joint in the entire volusia county. The owner and the staff are one of the most gracious people you will ever meet. The food was 10/10. We got the chicken sandwich and the burger and fries. 10/10 all around. Highly recommend

Steer clear of here! The place is run down and grimy. One waitress and one old grumpy cook. Placed our order, waited a half hour. Nothing. The old man in the kitchen was working on to go orders....one by one. We asked the waitress if our food was even started yet. No it wasn't. So we said we were leaving, the grumpy old man asked if we paid yet? The waitress said no, the old man said tell them they can leave. Oh, thank you. Bye....Skip this one.

The owner, Dave, is a hard-working, really nice guy. We had the patty melt and onion rings, and it was much better than I anticipated. Very good. I had a milk shake it was also perfect. I've been telling all my friends about this place. Ps. Don't let the outside influence you. Dave remodeled the interior, and it's bright and beautiful!

We picked this spot based on Google reviews, and we're glad we did. As others mentioned, the staff is super friendly and go out of the way to make sure you are satisfied. The food was great and the prices are very reasonable. I should add, they have a working jukebox. That is worthy of 5 stars right there in my opinion. ?
Kid-friendliness: Friendly staff that treated our kids like VIPs. They have coloring books for them to choose from and then put their completed pictures on the wall. Little things that make a family trip out special.
