We live in Tennessee, but we visit Daytona at least twice a year.
Tipsy Taco Cantina has been one of our favorite spots for years. It’s usually our first stop on our trips because of the cool atmosphere, the great servers and the really, really good food.
We had a family trip to Orlando this past weekend, and spent a day in Daytona at the beach. We were really disappointed to see all of the changes that have been made at Tipsy since our last trip in August.
The service was not good, the menu had been completely changed, and the food was disgusting. I was close to tears.

Stumbled into this place just looking for a drink while visiting with a friend after a funeral. We plopped into some of the last spots at the bar and within a few seconds were greeted and poured some beers.
This place was my vibe. The playlist was eclectic but perfection. They had surfing and college sports on the screen. The crew behind the bar were spunky and attentive (and adorable to boot). The other patrons were a beautiful mix of florida and otherwise.
If you're looking for a fun place not-so mainstream to chill and drink and be around other cool humans, this place is it.

We ordered takeout for a family of 6. Smash Burgers were amazing! Fries were great! . Only downside was the online prices were outdated. Definitely will eat here again

I used to love coming here when it was the Tipsy Taco and was excited when I heard they put tacos, burritos etc back on the menu. The burrito was pretty good but we ordered chips and queso and the queso tasted like Tostitos and was lukewarm. I had to wipe down the table myself with napkins when my family went to sit down, and I piled up the used coasters at the end of the table because they were stained and wet. The waitress came around to greet us and passed the coasters back to us, and I asked for new ones because that’s pretty unsanitary and unappetizing. I get wanting to reduce waste, but you can buy reusable washable coasters. I’ve never been somewhere where they reuse disposables.
Have been coming to Tipsy Taco for a couple of years now from Deltona. Worth the drive for the great tacos. Arrived today to find that they are now Tipsy Tavern. Our favorite chicken bandito tacos no longer have the mango crema and just aren't as good without it. No jerk chicken tacos anymore either, another favorite. Pains me to say it but the changes to the tacos are not for the better. Probably won't be back, unfortunately. We'll miss Tipsy Taco.

Wife and I came for lunch, and was easily top 5 best shrimp tacos ever!!! Our server Kelly was working her ass off keeping this place going!!! Tipsy Taco is the name!

Good ol' 70s rock & roll playing through great speakers; service was quick, and food was great. I had a smash burger, and it was cooked perfectly. We will be there again next year.
