“The food was amazing. I ordered a half pepperoni and half cheese pizza. It had a perfectly cooked crust and the flavor was immaculate. Other than the amazing food, the service was top tier. The owner took our order and engaged in conversations with us while maintaining professional. The atmosphere/ambiance in the restaurant was super positive. High energy and I felt the positivity through my whole meal. Definitely will go back whenever I'm in Sarasota.“
“I gave Shore 4 stars for not for the food but for the atmosphere. It's a sexy cool spot in heart of St. Armand's Circle. The staff was friendly. We went at 2pm thinking we'd missed the lunch crowd. The place was still packed. We only had to wait 15-20 minutes though. Drinks were great, had the Bee Keeper, Barrel Aged Cocktail and Espresso Martini. Started with the Crispy Bao Buns. I got the Tuna Tartare as my entree, hubs had the Faroe Island Salmon, you can see by his empty plate (forgot to take a before pic) that he enjoyed it. The tuna tartare was fresh and light. I feel there is "always something" good, bad or indifferent when dining out. My "always something" for Shore was the crispy bao buns. I know it says it in the name but I think one of the great thing about bao buns is the pillowy goodness and these crispy ones just missed the mark for me. All in all Shore is a great place to go grab a bite while shopping St. Armands Circle.“
“Finally! A Japanese place that serves Okonomiyaki. This is a popular dish in Japan that I grew up eating when I lived there. It provided me with a sense of nostalgia as I do not come across this as often as Takoyaki, which I also love. The interior matched the theme of the restaurant, an Izakaya. I will definitely be returning when I visit Sarasota again.“
“We love this restaurant! It is one of our favorites! The food is a few levels above the Mediterranean food I have eaten in the past. It's a beautiful place, nice and quiet. The best part is the service. They are so friendly and do a great job and genuinely seem happy to see people!“
“Their Food and Wine are FANTASTIC!!! Service and Recommendations were Spot On. Highly Recommend this Restaurant. Family owned where the parents are the Chefs and their Sons are the Waiters, been serving Sarasota Successfully for over 10 years.“
“A great vibe. You’ll feel like a local.I like that we don’t wait in a line. It’s a friendly place. Clean, TV’s, parking lot across the street. I love the chicken quesadilla! My husband likes the soup, burger and anything fish… along with the beer. A great night out or a Saturday lunch. ♥️Parking: Parking in front or in free lot across the street.“
“Last week I was walking back to my car after picking up a pizza from one of the neighboring restaurants in the same plaza. A gentleman on the sidewalk stopped me, asked if I had ever tired the pizza at Tralia. I told him no, I’d never even heard of the place. He pointed it out to me, just a few doors down and began to rave about the place. He said they do a thin crust, but their Detroit style was amazing. Was going to stop in and pick up a menu but they weren’t open at the time. I was in the area today so decided to check it out. He was not wrong. Although I usually prefer a NY style, I decided to take his recommendation and ordered the classic Detroit with extra sauce. It was incredible. After just one visit, this is now our go-to for pizza. Hands down, best in the area.“
“stopped in for a something quick and more healthy than a burger. Had a wrap and you can tell everything was very fresh and made to order. The couple working behind the counter were very outgoing and friendly. A lot of choices for such a small place. I was there about 15-20 minutes and saw a bunch of people come through the door in my time there. They seem very popular in the the area.“
“Origin is one of the four cornerstone places to visit on Hillview in Sarasota. Origin has a few locations locally, this location is the best. The restaurant has an extensive beer selection and a simple, yet well put together wine list. No liquor. Now the food, great wings and pizza. I'm from NY, great wings and pizza. The staff is very welcoming and knowledgeable. Personal thanks to Ally, Rachael, Tara, Jenica and Jackie. Great staff, Great food, Great Service. Trust me! Get a dessert to go.“
“Fresh bread, hand sliced meats and veggies and smiles from all the employees! The bread isn’t super thick and distracting fromThe meat. It’s just classic subs, the Spicy Italian is amazing but the Gut Buster and Tuna were enjoyed as well. Lastly - the prices are tremendous for what you get. I could eat Obee’s everyday!“
“Although this place is known for their pizzas, the artichoke dip was probably my favorite part of the meal. It was hot and bubbly with fresh dipping-dough, and kicked off an excellent meal. We had the ER and Farm Veggie pizzas, which were both very good. The Farm pizza was loaded so full of vegetables that it was hard to see the cheese. The meats on the pizza were crisp and salty - exactly what I like on my pizzas.Beyond food, I paired the pizzas with the "Charlie's Blood Orange Wheat" beer from Big Top Brewing Company, which is a beer unique to Origin. It was great.Parking: May be difficult to find parking here at busy times of the day. We had to drive around for a few minutes to find something in the lot.“
“We ate at the Toasted Yolk for the first time and loved it. Food was great service was excellent! Got seated right away and had the best server Megan making sure we had everything we needed and checking back and making sure everything was great! A+ service!!!“
“There's certain restaurants that you absolutely treasure, this is one of them. You almost have to know that this place exists and when you do...you'll be there 6 days a week ordering a sub for lunch. Ive tried so many things on the menu and i am stuck deciding which one is the best. Its too hard!! The owner is the chef and is super passionate about making sure you have a great tasty and delightful sandwich. If i could give more than 5 stars i would. Some of my favorites are steak and cheese, pepper and egg, and tuna. I also would like to comment about how nice the staff is. They all are such nice people and go out of their way to make sure your order is complete and everything from the simple things like napkins are in your to go bag! Thank you so much for awesome lunches!! Andd keep up the good work!!“
“D’Corato Ristorante is absolutely the best Italian place ever and is a hidden gem! From the warm atmosphere to the superior service, this place knocks it out of the park. Every meal I have had there has been amazing! The precious family who owns this restaurant goes above and beyond every time! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“This place is hands down the best! I received a free grain bowl (AHH..Greeked Out) today and let me tell you it is absolutely amazing! I will most definitely be a new customer. We need more of these and less fast food restaurants! Also if you are a breastfeeding Mom like me go check out their menu, they has so many choices to pick from that will help boost that liquid gold!“
“We love going for the lunch special during the week, pizza or sandwich and soup or salad. Plus the Mediterranean sandwich is vegetarian and so delicious!Vegetarian options: Food is always good, pizza is a mustParking: Depends on time and season, but not a lot of street parking nearby, no parking lot“
“This was actually one of the best chick fil a's I've been to! I thought they were all the same but this one location is SO beyond kind! I was so surprised!Parking: Like hardly any spots, maybe 15 total maybe. All strangely placed so difficult to get into“
“I had a very good experience ordering from this location for the first time. I ordered lunch for a doctors office and ordered a mixture of wraps, salads, and juices. Everything was very fresh and quality was very good. I will definitely order from this location again for future lunches.“
“Best fried rice in all of Venice island. Delicious food, amazing service and great atmosphere. It’s close to everything in downtown Venice and it’s usually available without reservation. My son loves the food and the waiters are so adorable.“
“This place remains excellent over the years, and is a little gem tucked in the south end of Siesta Key. Go here for a nice dinner!!We had a great early bird dinner with friends so we could catch sunset at Point of Rocks beach after. Everything was great, the petit filet mignon, the grilled filet de boeuf forestire, with a ragout of oyster, portobello and cremini mushrooms, and the grilled redfish with romescu sauce, all were served with soup (do Garlic), salad, a small veggie plate app, mashed potatoes, sautéed green beans and a carrot mash and dessert. All dishes were excellent! They also served happy hour drinks with the early bird dinners, which was a nice surprise! Also had desserts of bread pudding, homemade strawberry ice cream, chocolate mousse and red velvet cake. All desserts were good as well.“
“Great little restaurant in Downtown Venice! I stopped in on a nice day to have a drink and read my book. I sat in the bar and they had the doors open, which let in a nice breeze. The staff was friendly and the drinks were reasonably priced. It seems like they’ve got some great food options too.“
“Talk about above and beyond the top customer service!!!! This place was hands down amazing from start to finish! They were very personable, accommodating, and quick! The kids loved watching them throw the dough, and the food was so delicious I couldn't even grab a photo we ate it up so fast!! It's a quaint little sit in and the service was 5 star for sure! You can immediately tell the ingredients were fresh and homemade. And the CHEESE! It's an amazingly gooey cheesy pizza!!! If you've seen a review from me, you know I like it cheesy. And this one is top-notch! This place was the perfect ending to a very long adventurous day! They are also family owned, and they even brew their own lager!!!! It is definitely worth a visit and should probably be your new favorite pizza shop if you're local! I will definitely be willing to make the drive, hungry for more!“
“Food was fantastic but they were really swamped that night. They didn't have enough servers and the ones on staff couldn't keep up. So, the service was rather slow. Not much different than other restaurants in the area though. It's hard to get workers to keep up with the crowds during high season“
“My first time eating here, I Googled healthy foods in sarasota and it popped up, so today after work I drove over. I really liked the food, I had the power bowl with grass fed steak and I had the quesedia, 5 stars on both dishes. I loved all the menu options. What impressed me the most was the work ethic of the guy cooking in the kitchen, it's been a long time since I seen such great work ethic from any one individual, dude ran the whole place by himself so efficiently, I only wish I had more money to leave as a tip for him. I hope sarasota locals give this place a chance and support it.Dietary restrictions: If you have very particular dietary needs, this place has you covered.“
“I recently found this pizza place on my lunch break & I have been meaning to write a review because this place is Great. I always recieve Great Service & Fast Service, which is appreciated since im always on a short break & the pizza is Great!!! I grew up in Sarasota/ Bradenton and it is hard to come by a place like this, you can't go anywhere and get two slices & a drink for under 10.00 for lunch!! I look forward to trying more food when I'm not working, they offer other items besides pizza as well. I would recommend trying them out if you are in the area.“
“We have at times been a little disappointed with the service. We’ve talked to management (Ron) about it and they are really on it. 100% maximum effort to make dining there the best experience possible. I absolutely recommend this place.“
