“Lono is a "hotel bar" with pool, deck chairs, cabanas and live music. This would not be my dream plan of how to spend a day but the area was inviting and the waiters were so nice! Their food offer was a surprise ... and I mean that in the best sense . Their Yuca fries are to die for and the dipping sauce is deliciousS . The rest of the food on the menu is pretty good too, Both the service and the quality of food has been exceptional ...Be prepared for hefty prices... Lono is a great place to plop down for the day and relax with a book and a drink. Their Cabanas are pretty fancy and you will feel like a Hollywood star. The swimming pool is clean and beautiful and pretty big. They are open until late and you can pretty much do your lunch, your tea and your dinner there if you want!“
“Been many times over the years. Overall, I give it a high rating. Food is good. Most recently had the Blackened Black Grouper. FANTASTIC!!!! My only complaint is the service at the outside bar. The bartenders are completely oblivious to a new customer’s presence every single time I’ve been there. I literally had to wave my arms around to be seen and waited on after having been walked by multiple times by all the bartenders. I believe the older gal who has been here for years is Annette. I think she hates her job. Unfriendly. Never smiles. Not one kind word until it came time to fill the out the credit card slip and leave a tip. I tip generously, usually 30%. I have a really hard time doing so when I’m clearly not even somewhat a priority. Disappointing for sure.I hope she’s able to find some joy somewhere. Perhaps it will improve her demeanor while at work.“

“Loved this place so much, I'm planning on making many return visits. The food was great, the atmosphere was vibin' and the service was top notch. Loved the drinks, especially the frozen daiquiri in the refillable mug...what a deal!! Live music, that actually was good and played music I like was a special treat. Definitely recommend!“
“Always a good time with excellent bartenders that are friendly and kind that hustle to make sure that you have a drink and your food without a long wait. “My wife and I went here the other night as part of our exploration of the local cuisine on the island. Let me first say that this is a very fun spot with live music in a upbeat island bar atmosphere. The drinks where good and we both had the Craft burger made to order with fries. Though they were good and perfectly cooked their was nothing particularly stand outish about the selection. The fries were good a crispy obviously hand cut in house. Staff we interacted with were friendly enough however our waiter seemed a bit tired. We did come in a little later in the evening to miss the on peak dinner rush so maybe they just had a really hectic day. Prices were very reasonable for the quality of the fair. So again if your looking for a hassle free quick bite or are just looking to soak up some alcohol while listening to some good live music, this could very well be your place.Parking: It's better to be walking distance from your lodging. Then parking is no issue. At peak times in the village there is literally no where to park. Paid parking is about $60 per day now. We just walk everywhere. Then we don't have to watch what we drink either. Take the Frog Hop or the Trolly if your to far to walk they are provided free, but appreciate tips.“
“My wife and I stopped here for an early dinnerafter visiting Mary Selby Spanish Point and we were happy we did. Simone M, our table hostess, was a delight, fun, and very attentive to our every need. The blackened Grouper tacos were incredibly good and the basket of French fries are highly recommended. A great spot on Little Sarasota Bay with a ton of good music and ambiance. A highly recommended stop if you are in Osprey. And ask for Simone...you will not be disappointed.“
