Kai Asian Street Fare opened up a location in a our local food hall over here at Oviedo on the Park. Kai has been absolutely killing it for a long time, so this was very exciting for us. We had some sports to watch at home one Saturday, so we ordered some takeout as soon as the place opened.

I walked over there to get the food, and the inside stunned me. They do a lot with such little space! The striking black bar, the giant mural of a traditional Japanese town on the wall, the corner stall with a great big window looking out at greater OOTP. It's just such a pretty space.

Service was fine. They didn't kill me with kindness or anything, but they did the job just fine.

As for the food, it was good stuff, very similar to their flagship store in Winter Park. Egg rolls, good, dumplings, good, wings, really good, fried baos, decent, but you can skip them, if you're making decisions between items.

So, overall, I'm very glad for it to be here now, because those wings are some of the absolute best in town.

I would not go back to this place again.. We ordered the garlic noodles with Tofu..

Issues :

Excessively Oily..we could eat 1/3 of it as it was literally drained in Oil.

Hardly a couple of small tofu pieces in the noodles

The only thing that makes me sad is the limited menu compared to the winter park location - the food is still just as delicious

The wings were a disappointment. Too breaded, too salty and overcooked. Domu and Chi-Kin are much better.

This was my first visit. The girl at the front who took our order had no motivation and presented to us an awkward uncaring vibe. She just had no people skills so to me it was sad that she was the first face of this establishment. She sat down and stayed on her phone. She did ask us if we wanted to eat inside or out and we said we would take a table right outside the door. I was surprised when she came to our table 35 minutes later with a to go bag. We said we ordered to eat here but she said they don’t serve the tables outside yet I saw everyone else eating at their table.

The pad Thai was exceptional just wish I wasn’t eating out of a box.

The salad served did not have all ingredients and was just cucumbers with dressing. It was bland because it was missing three of the ingredients listed on the menu. Very sad.

The chicken bao was dry and uneventful. I was thinking they would be soft.

The pot stickers were average.

I would also like to add that I saw people going inside and asking questions and then walking out as I ate my food. Perhaps more energy from the employee would have helped.

It was good! Ive been many times to the original location in winter park and personally i felt like the flavor of the wings wasnt as good as the original spot. Just not as spicy. But still crunchy, which we love. Everything else was delicious though ! I wish they had the option of their milkntea because its such a winner. I didn't see it on the menu. We got the party pack and it was wnough for 3 of us for only 50 bucks and we had like 8 wings left over!

The three dishes of food we ordered were super bad, without any flavor, the Lorean crispy wings seemed frozen and they added it to fry like that, Pad Thai terrible without any flavor and super greasy and finally garlin nuddles had no super bad flavor. I do not recommend it, we would not return

Nice addition to the food factory line up. Kai brings something different to choose from with a variety of Asian appetizers and dishes. You can’t go wrong with the Vietnamese garlic noodles or their crispy and juicy wings. They are definitely tasty and filling. The owner and staff are always pleasant and helpful when deciding on what to order. They have changed the menu a few times so we are always excited to see what’s new to try. Check them out.
