This is the BEST Mexican restaurant we have found on the east side of Orlando. We moved here 18 months ago and have been looking for a Mexican restaurant that we all love this is it!

I'll start with the food. First, their fountain Coke was amazing. Many restaurants have sub-par fountain drinks. I would put their Coke on the same level as a good McDonald's Coke. For those of you who love Coke, you know that means it's good. Next, their queso dip was amazing. It is white queso, was super creamy, and had so much flavor. The salsa was great, too. My daughter and I both had the Arroz con Pollo. The chicken was tender, the queso dip made it even better, and even the guacamole on the side tasted freshly made. They even offer sides of sweet plantains, which are my favorite, and not all Mexican restaurants have. My husband had a steak chimichanga, and my son had a nacho burrito with steak. Both enjoyed their dishes. Finally, we ended with a fried ice cream, which was everything you would expect from a good fried ice cream. It was cruncy on the outside and served in a fried shell with chocolate and caramel sauces and whipped cream. It was the perfect way to end the meal.

The atmosphere was great, with tons of individual booths for seating, and the space is broken up so that you don't feel like you are sitting in the middle of a huge room. The booths had padding, which is surprisingly rare in Orlando restaurants. There was also a large outdoor covered patio that had privacy from the parking lot and looked like a great place to sit, too.

The only slightly negative part of our experience was our server. She was very friendly but did not check on us frequently enough. We were done eating and waited at least 5-10 minutes before she came over to ask if we needed anything else. She then brought our dessert but did not bring our check. We again waited 5-10 minutes after finishing for her to come back and ask if we wanted the check. A positive on the service side is that one of the bus boys came by twice and refilled our chips.

Overall, the food was so good there is no way we won't be back. This will definitely be a go-to spot for us!

I had tried Salsas Titusville only as take out and this was my first time at the Oviedo location. It's only 15 minutes from my home in Winter Park. We ate outdoors and the weather was perfect that day. Our waiter was friendly and helpful and the food arrived pretty soon after we ordered. The taco salad was good but the pico de Gallo was unimpressive plus the chicken was a bit bland. The tortilla soup comes in a large portion and it was delicious but had no avocado. My nephew ordered the beef taquitos and they had a strong flavor of cloves. I have been consuming Mexican food for years and this was a first for me. He ordered hot sauce to overcome the clove flavor. It was overall a good meal but next time I will order the chicken tacos and hopefully they will be as good as the ones I had in Titusville. Oh, the tres leches dessert was superb.

Definitely disappointed. Been to this restaurant several times and each time is worse than the time before. Food was good. Ordered the new “El Jefe” and no real complaint other than my steak being undercooked in the thicker areas, but I’d prefer it being undercooked rather than overcooked; however, the service was so poor that it ultimately ruined the meal. At first it took a long time (about 10 mins) just to even see our server for the first time. We figured he was busy with inside tables, so we paid no mind to it and ordered drinks along with our toddlers food and queso. Took between 5-10 mins just to get our drinks to the table. So long that we finished the provided chips and salsa. At this point is when I started to worry because our server asked us a second time what our toddler had ordered. Since he didn’t write it down and clearly forgot. After bringing our queso, he never brought anymore salsa and never brought any refills after being asked for them on two separate occasions. After another 15 mins he comes to the table and we asked about our food. He grabs his head as if he forgot then runs back inside and surprisingly the food was brought to the table shortly after. At this point we just wanted to leave with the extended waits, no refills and poor service. Not sure if our server was just having a bad night, overwhelmed with too many tables, or just couldn’t remember our requests as simple as they were. Definitely not worth the $100 spent for my wife, my toddler and I considering we didn’t even order any alcohol. Unfortunately, if this is the service they provide regularly, I would not recommend this restaurant and I doubt we will be going back.

We have eaten here many times and the food is good and very consistent. They have both indoor and outdoor dining and the service is very attentive. We have enjoyed the fajitas, quesadillas, tacos and arroz con pollo.

Very good food plenty of flavor and BIG portions. The tortilla soup is very good. And I feel that the prices were very reasonable. Oh I forgot to mention the salsa and chips are the best I've ever tasted you can't let go even after you get your dinner. Good Job 👍

Absolute favorite sit-down Mexican restaurant in East Orlando. It's not a cookie-cutter spot with Taco Bell food like Habaneros, they've got real Mexican and it's real good.
